It was not a character analysis nor a Karan Nandini Tanya triangle analysis. It was simply stating the facts.

I think Nandini mentioned that Parth is over 18 in the beginning of the show, stating that he is independent. He can be possiibly 19 when Baa's property drama started. I think, there was one year gap between Parth selling the property to Parvati (I am not sure too) and Parvati's visit to Mumbai.

By the time of MT's marriage, Tulsi shall be 21 and Mihir shall be 23 (BBA and MBA). So before leap, Mihir and Tulsi are 61 and 59. So Karan can be maximum 36 (if Mandira produces Karan when Tulsi was 23). If we assume Parth is born out of Tanya-Karan's high school affair (when he was eighteen), Parth can be of 18-19. Then, after 5-6 years, he could have married Nandini. Also, KN's kids are much younger than Parth.

PS: Mandira had to be older than Mihir like 26-28 because she is a doctor. And MBBS and PG takes 8 years round. But that is out of discussion.

Mihir Tulsi can also add 6 years to the 38 years nonsense to claim 44 years of marriage. Tulsi got pregnant in the first year of marriage itself and Gautam was born by the end of that year, hence he is 43. Thus,
Karan cannot be older than 42 with this logic.

At 42, Karan’s oldest is 24. Karan had to have had him at 18! And that’s after having his heartbroken when it came to Damini, landing in India to ruin his dad and expose his affair. Followed by Nandini entering his life. Followed by a messed up love square/rectangle/any other quadrangle shape - when Ansh and Tanya were introduced on the show. The various marriages that followed. Somehow all before the age of 18!

I think I had raised this earlier on this forum, but the entire timeline is completely messed up. If I remember correctly, Karan was introduced as Sahil’s friend from Australia, and they had completed their MBA together. That would mean Karan had to be at least 23 when he returned to India. He was introduced before Gautam married Tisha.

After that, Tisha became pregnant and later passed away, following which Gautam married Damini. Only after all this did Karan and Nandini’s love story begin. Ansh was then introduced as the villain, leading to Nandini Ansh’s marriage, Ansh’s death, and finally Karan and Nandini’s remarriage.

What makes the age issue even more confusing is that even in Season 1, Shobha was shown as a college student, while Karan had already completed his MBA. Despite this, the show later tries to portray Karan as being younger than Shobha. Basically after Mihir cheated on Tulsi with Mandira, he wanted to confess the truth to her. However, just as he was about to do so, Tulsi revealed that she was pregnant with Shobha. This clearly establishes Shobha’s is elder to Karan but later Karan became elder to Shobha as story progressed.

At the beginning of Season 2, Tulsi and Mihir are shown celebrating 38 years of marriage. By that calculation alone, Karan should be at least around 36 years old.

Adding to the confusion, Karan having a son, Parth, is another mystery altogether. It was stated that Parth is Karan and Tanya’s son who is 18 yrs old. Did Karan had his son at 18? which basically means he and Tanya had physical relationship at 17? Also Bhumi is completely missing in Season 2. This creates further confusion about whether Karan married Tanya first and later fell in love with Nandini, which directly contradicts the earlier storyline of S1.

Overall, the age progression and timeline across both seasons are inconsistent and poorly handled.
