omg! Tanishk is so darn good.
I hope he wins this season. Even if he doesn't, I really hope he becomes a playback singer. It's out loss if that doesn't happen.
Listening to this guy makes me feel so happy. He's just so so so good!
Alia is so funny and typical 🤣🤣

Don't see Vishal. Has he quit the show?
could be - something is not right - when Shreya was absent - they mentioned few times -she was on vacation - they did not say anything about vishal.

He should be in top three at least - if not the winner.
I loved ' O priya priya..' - he is the best - so emotional!
Haven’t kept up with the season quite as much I’m only watching for Shreya
. But so far I’ve agreed with all of the eliminations. Idk what’s going on with Vishal? It’s odd that they haven’t mentioned it the last time he was absent he had an accident.
Also another side note I noticed - are they not going the public voting anymore? The contestants don’t mention the “mujhe vote Karne ke liye” line that previous years had (unless it comes on in the live performances and I don’t see it on the Sony liv version)
At this point I've watched every episode so far this season, and think the eliminations have been fair so far (maybe Arfin could've stuck around a bit longer). I really don't know who should be eliminated next ... aside from Tanishk and Shreenidhi there haven't been any major standouts in my opinion, but they are all solid singers. I think those two should definitely be finalists -- they both have very good versatility and feel -- and Tanishk is my early favorite to win.
Some thoughts on each of the remaining 13 (sorry, this got quite long):
Abhijit: Has a mature voice, and is pretty versatile. I feel like he's a bit flat sometimes as a result of this vocal texture, but he sang well this weekend and has potential to keep improving during the season.
Abhishek: A very good singer with classical background but is also pretty solid outside of that comfort zone (e.g. Tadap Tadap, Naina a few weeks ago).
Amrita: I feel like she's really good at adapting / modulation (e.g. Aaj Ki Raat last weekend), and isn't really getting enough credit for that. Also is classically strong (in a different flavor) and doesn't really get to show it much.
Ankita: Pretty consistent (I think Badshah might've said this actually), no real bad performances or clear weaknesses from what I've heard. Wouldn't say her performances have been super exciting, but can definitely appreciate her as a good young singer.
Anshika: I think most of her performances have been really good, maybe it was just her one Desi Girl performance that I wasn't a fan of. She can go far, but I don't really know what to think.
Diwakar: I also think he's a good singer who keeps turning in good performances, but it's a bit like Vaibhav from a few seasons ago, arguably a little less versatile from what we've seen so far, where it's a consistent type of "fun" performances.
Jyotirmayee: She's really good too, and the last few performances have been pretty impressive. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like sometimes the "throw" in her voice is missing, but she has a sweet voice which is pleasant to listen to.
Manraj Veer: His voice is well-suited to a wide range of songs, but the outstanding performances have mainly been the KK songs.
Shreenidhi: Versatile ... like every performance has been really good. Shreya's clearly a fan (granted, it seems like the judges are a fan of everyone this season), and the one concern I would've had on his voice being too soft has been assuaged by how well he's sung Shankar ji's songs like Lakshya and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.
Shreya: She's also been putting in really good performances, which is remarkable for her age. This weekend's performance convinced me of her potential beyond the genre of Richa Sharma ji and Jaspinder Narula ji's songs.
Sugandha: I really don't know, I liked her in Saregamapa Lil Champs but am not as much a fan of her voice now. When she gets to slower and/or classical songs (the more peppy ones just seemed like a bad fit to me), it feels like she's a bit flat (like in her first audition), but maybe it's just me, IDK. This weekend was a bit better, but aside from that, I thought her best performances were in the duets ...
Suhail: He's obviously a very good Sufi singer, but the cracks have started to show a little this past week when expanding beyond that. I think how far he goes will depend on song selection / the guests that come over the next few weeks.
Tanishk: Just has a certain magic in his voice that's really amazing, he's got this genre of Rafi ji, Suresh Wadkar ji, Sonu ji (maybe a bit of Shabbir Kumar?) that especially suits his voice, but he's shown he can expand beyond that. As Badshah said last episode, you almost feel like you'd want to hear a "Tanishk special".
