Part 4
I wasn't expecting Fareed to grab her hand as we usually see this for romantic leads. Here, he does it out of concern. While the makers don't magnify it like they would with the leads, we still see those camera lenses linger just a tiny fraction here more and that shows us a deep bonding is beginning. The question is what colour will this bond take.
Part 5
Another catch fall as Kausar tries to leave and fix the problem on her own. However, Fareed stepping in lays hint that he is not going to let her figure this out on by herself. For the first time, she has support. I also liked that her opening up to him was done without big dramatic swells of music or huge arguments or flashes of frame freeze. It almost takes place quietly.
As we see him give a quiet support through giving her the handkerchief, we also have Amal sleeping in the background. That is going to be their tie which will make them more than employee and employer.
Hi,new member here.Yours was a bang on analysis and it really throws a different light on the whole Farid-Kausar equation.Theirs is truly a unique relationship in the making.Usually in stories with women facing abuse, they are more often than not wooed by a man from their past who has always been in love with them, someone who obviously saw them at their happiest times in fact and who may or may not have kept them on a pedestal. In fact, the abuse is usually ornamental, something to lend a tragic quality to the woman in question, who coincidentally happens to be described as an angel by everyone who knows her.She is rarely explored in depth and we never really get to know her.
Here,Farid sees Kausar at her worst and already has an idea of the extent she would go to for her daughter's happiness. He has no idealized version of her in his head. She is loud, strong and absolutely capable of dealing with her problems in her own way.So when he does fall for her,he'd do so for the raw, unfiltered version of her.
But before that, both of them need to heal from a lot of trauma. In Kausar's case,it's depicted a bit more obviously. But Farid also has his share of trauma from a dysfunctional marriage. There is absolutely no warmth and he is so used to it that he's managed to function on autopilot. He also seems to be suppressing most of his emotions and is trying to believe that everything is normal.Unfortunately, the day will come when he snaps and all hell will break lose.
Farid and Kausar still have a lot to learn from each other.Kausar will have to learn to trust other, good people and find her own life's purpose(helping Seher become a doctor and settling her down is a short term goal).Farid on the other hand will have to learn that there's no one shoe that fits all solution to all problems. He too has to work on trust issues and opening up.

what is she is up to with the ivf thing?
