Tulsi and Mihir were leads in S1 too but still Karan Nandani had equal importance.

I know he’s gonna play the titular character of Mahadev but I meant that he’s not gonna play the main lead in the sense that he’s not going to be the romantic lead.

The story will focus on his sons and their romantic relationships and how they affect this family from what the promos imply. He had eloped with his wife in the past perhaps and that had consequences on the family of his in-laws. This is now him as a father on the other end of that tale.

So the show obviously will need to focus on the sons and their romantic relationships which will affect his screen time.
