And episode writing, am sure they know enough to drag these elements dramatically.

Here, it's like one twist after another with no time to breath.

According to me, it is a sign of writing under pressure. They are throwing one twist ball after another with no pause, hoping a few of them hit the TRP meter. If my memory serves me right, the show had not even completed six months, and it was already under the radar.

The way they spend so much time in ensuring that the vamps crimes are executed perfectly and there can be no loopholes will leave you hysterical. They will show you a timer of how Aish nearly didn't get the injection in time to be brought back to life but will not spare time on the psych of the positive characters so we can understand their actions better.

I hope the Neetu trauma and Ronnie support will be revisited during the reconciliation phase with Vikrant.

That's what it is. They write for that TRP spike that will average out the TRP to a respectable number. Short sighted and surprisingly so for a bunch of writers who have worked on long running shows like KB

I can't blame them when the show is on a chopping block. It has been stuck at 1.2 for ages, slot leader for sure but not a great TRP that gives them the breather to add more layers and less crime-infused twists.

High TRPs allow writers to play with pauses and contemplation.

Going into an interview and being certain about a Manvik reunion may be suicide as well. She will be quoted as having said that when it's something that's not even in her control.

The way that separation was crafted there is no way anyone can see a reconciliation. Even Adnan kept pointing that out in his interview. I think the response that Kidult gave earlier about how both Ayesha and Adnan seem to be speaking from their character's perspectives makes sense. It's a journey and perspectives may be given based on where the journey has taken them thus far whereas as the audience we are now impatient. We want to get to the destination already.

We also need to keep in mind about characters' growth. From that pov, mannat is miles ahead than Vikrant. Both are hurt, but Vikrant is still where everyone left him 7 years back, nursing his betrayal and trying to be happy in his bubble meanwhile Mannat must have gone through a tremendous growth. She is also hurt but other things take more priority than that. She is no longer Mannat, Vikrant's wife and lover, she is now dua's mother and shruti's daughter who is on the path of revenge. Thats why i said, both have different perspectives to look at Manvik.

I really wonder how Vikrant is going to navigate all this honestly. he is someone who is easily manipulated and he is surrounded by vultures. Only positive person we know who is going to enter his life is Dua.

His transformation remains a mystery.

The makers have already used maximum negativity, yet there is no improvement in TRP. This itself proves that excessive negativity is not working anymore. The real question is—will this finally force them to bring positivity and show Manvik together in one frame?

They have already experienced it themselves:

Manvik together + exposure of the vamps = TRP rise.

If this formula has worked earlier, why are they still adamant about pushing only negativity?

Instead of dragging one dark track endlessly, they could easily introduce new tracks every month, with small villains, limited negativity, and quick exposure. This would keep the story engaging without exhausting the audience emotionally.

From a business point of view, they are making a very risky mistake.

Before thinking about new “kaand,” they first need to close all the open pre-leap tracks properly, expose the villains, and stabilise the story strongly. Only after securing TRP and audience trust should they move on to fresh conflicts.

Without clearing the old stock, what is the use of introducing new stock? Stock clearance is a must—at least by the end of the year.

The makers need to first close all pending pre-leap tracks, expose the villains, and stabilise the storyline strongly. Only after securing TRP and audience trust should they move on to fresh “kaand.” Otherwise, adding new tracks will only create more clutter, not interest.

I think they needed maximum negativity to hit the reset button and have a story to tell in season 2. It was probably a gamble. Maybe they did not even expect a high jump in TRP and it remaining stagnant is good enough for them to build on going into the leap.

If Colors’ new shows start picking up in TRP, the channel will not think twice before shutting this show down. Already, so many new shows are lined up. That’s exactly why I keep saying—before it’s too late, why can’t the makers choose and try a positive path at least once?

They have nothing to lose at this stage, but everything to gain. A shift towards positivity, Manvik together, and proper closure of tracks could still revive audience interest. Otherwise, the decision may not even be in the makers’ hands anymore.

I know many of you aren’t happy with my brutal statements, but these interviews that they are giving is damage control measures.

Ayesha in her lone interview was very diplomatic and vague. But I am glad she recognises the fact that the audience is most definitely not pleased.

I don’t think Matka has the time to waste on further negativity in the story. She needs to hunker down & realise that all the snakes in a snake pit, aren’t truly getting the TRP she claims.

Less ego & more humility may work some small wonders for her.
