I feel the same. Why does Vikrant have such a difficult time managing his anger? This he had even before all this chaos started.

It probably harks back to being taken away from his mother, dragged away by a stranger. As much as Rotu gave him a lovely, secure childhood, this one act buried deep within his subconscious has traumatised him. Coupled with Neetu's drugs ...this has been a shock to him.

It's the way Adnan plays it..today if you see his reaction, it's like coming out of a trance, hearing about Shruti.

I wish the writing actually had so much depth or maybe it does! I just wish they stop with this much trauma, and not leave him without any conscience whatsoever. . At least for Mannat.

Just a question from the comments i have seen that keep questioning why he has kept the Vikrant Saluja name. He has had that name since he was 5yrs. How to pick up an identity that was abandoned at that same age.

In the Turkish OG there was a sequence in the track where once he found out his birth truth and how they changed his identity for their dead son’s, he had his confrontations, left RoTu’s home and took on his Aman name.
Neetu finally put up a photo of her dead son Vikrant side by side to a photo of current Aman. Also showing relief for Neetu to acknowledge her dead son openly.

The track wasn’t as long drawn out, once he got over the shock, betrayal, anger and then reconciliation with RoTu, he himself asked if he could continue to be known as Vikrant Saluja, as their son.

Here it’s spanned 7yrs, but we may get an explanation why he kept VS when he reconciles with RoTu.

I stopped watching following fake engagement ... only picked up when Mannat returned as 50% owner. I liked the episodes where Mannat was giving it back (I like strong female protagonists who don't waste glycerin). I enjoyed the episodes when Mannat came to know about Malla's trap, and Vikrant getting confused because of her sudden friendliness and lovey-dovey looks.

This track has the same potential. This time Vikrant should come to know about few truths and chase Mannat, who should not budge an inch.

This show is very much sane -- I hear the screaming of 8 p.m. Star Plus show (every character in that show is a lunatic)... What do I tell, and it is getting a TRP of 1.4.

RD/Scar brilliant psychoanalysis of Vikrant/Aman.

The team have created these layers but it’s being lost because they aren’t writing introspections or conversations between Vikrant/Mannat/RoTu/DK adequately enough. Our attention is diverted by the bombardment of scheming and level of toxicity shown. The team have the opportunity to draw out post leap, but with introduction of the 2 new actresses’ tracks it may dilute Vik’s personality struggles.
This depth must be lost on TRP audiences.

PS is Mona staying as ARS…IF seem to suggest the new actress is replacing ? That will impact of the story greatly too.

Ayesha will not say a word if she doesn't see it in her script.

Plus, she must be aware of how disappointed the fandom is and thus keeping expectations low. Even the other IV, she clarified that hit & miss scenes don't mean too much , just one shot of them shooting together.

I heard that as well.

Going into an interview and being certain about a Manvik reunion may be suicide as well. She will be quoted as having said that when it's something that's not even in her control.

The way that separation was crafted there is no way anyone can see a reconciliation. Even Adnan kept pointing that out in his interview. I think the response that Kidult gave earlier about how both Ayesha and Adnan seem to be speaking from their character's perspectives makes sense. It's a journey and perspectives may be given based on where the journey has taken them thus far whereas as the audience we are now impatient. We want to get to the destination already.

@BOLD - Maybe that's why there's less traction for the show. They should drag these little things, like Neetu's trauma at losing a child that made her almost crazy, why Ronnie supported her. Not to support the characters, but to make the viewers invested. Vikrant getting panic attacks or nightmares, when he is alone.

And episode writing, am sure they know enough to drag these elements dramatically.

Here, it's like one twist after another with no time to breath.
