Those were golden days of itv. My first ever reality show was boogie boogie with Mathur as host and Javed Naved and Ravi as judge. It was really authentic and no rona dhona and sob stories.

BB doesn’t say its a shouting match..it isn’t WWE..bhasad ka adda bhi nahi hai. Its contract actually mentions ‘no violence’. Nor is it KKK where u need to perform stunts.

This entire “GK didn’t do anything” narrative is honestly just entitlement disguised as analysis. Bigg Boss is not a job where someone has to submit a weekly productivity report. It’s a reality show - people connect with contestants for their reasons.

I personally connected with Gaurav’s calmness, dignity, emotional vulnerability, decency, or even silence - that connection is VALID.

Who exactly has the authority to dictate what “content” should look like?

Some people scream, fight, create chaos.Some play mind games.Some over-strategize.And some win hearts simply by being themselves.

Every season has contestants who win audience love WITHOUT aggression or theatrics. That doesn’t make them fake... it makes them authentic to who they are.

Calling GK’s past irrelevant is fair if BB were a pure performance-based competition.But BB isn’t a that... That's "Khatron ke Khiladi" ,stunt karo ..jeeto aur age badho...aap ne pehle Jo bhi Kiya ho.but Big Boss?..it’s a sentiment-based voting system where people vote for who they feel connected to...this format has always thrived on a balance of relatability, chaos, and mass appeal. That balance doesn’t make one contestant’s journey less meaningful or another’s more deserving. It just means everyone comes in with different currencies - popularity, drama, kindness, chaos, narrative and the audience chooses which currency they value most.
