For people giving example of Shruti... she too invented a hypothetical dead father for Mannat... assuming Mannat is set to follow her example... why would she want her daughter to suffer an identity crisis (take reference from Mannats pichla janam)... and do people realise the connotations on Mannats character (especially now) if she says she doesnt know who the father of the child is???? Do we really want this added to the long list of trauma and scrutiny Mannat is going to face anyway??? 🥺

Think about it from the shows perspective people and dont get emotional.... Dua will have a surname which has potential for more drama.... as simple as that!!!!

Let's go with Saluja then since Vikrant stole all the Saluja properties in spite of finding out he is a Aman Kumar and not a Saluja . This way Mannat stands by truth, she can tell Dua her father went to timbaktu which is true and working there to earn money.

By the way are we forgetting RoTu the white caller criminals and Vikrant obsessed Neetu 😬

Love your deep thoughts though, hope writers are putting in 1% of effort this forums puts in writing all these posts and coming up with possible tracks 🙈

I feel the only way Neetu can be redeemed would be if she completely takes care of Mannat like her own daughter after Shruti's death. Instead of being sick and dependent on Mannat, she should support her career and help her to raise the child. Without any selfish motive.

The moment her puttar is going to forgive her she is going to forget who gave her shelter for the last 5years. Trust Neetu and you will live to regret it. We don't even need to look far, Mannat is a living example. She was blackmailed with suicide threats (with a butter knife) and she fell for the theatrics.

I am still dicey about dcp stepping up as father to mannat's child but i do get your points. As much as i want mannat to keep Dua as khanna only, ik mukta ke gale se niwala nahi jayega beena kalesh kiye😂

Jokes apart, it was even tough for shruti to stay as unwed single mother hence all that fake husband background still all that gave a good trauma to mannat, so i cant imagine for mannat who will legit carry a child for nine months. Either this way or that way, Dua is bound to have identity crisis. Even if she keeps Dua as Khanna, that little baby is bound to ask questions later on as there will be different people with different surnames under one roof. In kuch rang, that wasnt the case, Sonakshi lived with her parents and her & dev were legally married couple till one point, so it was easier for her to make soha understand.

Here the mess is quite dirty, so i can see that again mannat has to choose less traumatic way to pacify her child. I just hope whatever way makers choose, it doesnt compromise with mannat's character and make her run behind Vikrant again for apology, we are tired of same thing. You made valid point that everything is happening for the property and technically Dua is the legitimate heiress to that. I think manvik are gonna clash in this. While Mannat would want to keep dua away from this as she wont want anything to do with riches again, Vikrant will be hell bent to give his kid her rights and for that, he will have to embrace his saluja identity.

My only motives are, make mannat well off, self efficient and independent on the other hand, make sure Vikrant suffers the worst for redemption😂

Mannat goes on to save her from the butter knife and the fake suicide hanging drama and lands herself in a mire

Truth is always the less traumatic path and who better to know this than Mannat like you pointed out. Maybe difficult at first but eventually the dust will settle down and there is always RoTu and DK to support and explain to Dua.

Dua can reject Daddy dearest like he rejected her , this will be music to my ears and a sight to watch for my eyes
