In her drunken state, she let the secret out. Yash had not known till now the baby is his.
Part 6
A week after her accident, Prashant and Nida visited Aarti. Prashant scolded Aarti for lying about her well-being.
"Sorry," Aarti mumbled, then made him promise not to tell anyone about her condition. "Please, Prashant," she begged.
"No, Aarti," he softly denied. "Please, Prashant! I'm your sister, your twin, your other half! You should always have my back and my best interests at heart, just like I have yours." Aarti glanced around, making sure no one was present to here their conversation.
"I said no, Aarti," he repeated. "Oh, come on, don't be like that! This is the first time I've asked for anything. Won't you do this for your sister?" she pleaded.
"Fine," Prashant sighed, finally giving in. "Thanks! You're the best! I love you!" she gushed, pulling him into a hug. Just then, the entire Scindia family walked into the sitting room and found them mid-embrace.
"What's going on here?" Yash asked, eyeing the hug suspiciously. "Nothing! I just asked Pappu if I could stay at his place for a month," Aarti replied.
"Why?" Yash frowned, clearly not thrilled about Prashant and Aarti's closeness. "So we can bond! Silly he's my other half," Aarti said, beaming at Prashant.
"What? Excuse me, your… your other… what?" Yash glared at Prashant, his eyes screaming, *You are a dead man.*
"I knew this girl was having an affair, and none of you believed me!" Maya shrieked, glaring at Aarti.
Aarti rolled her eyes. *Not this nonsense again,* Aarti mumbled. "They're twins," Nina clarified. "It's natural for them to want to spend time together after being separated for years. Their mother gave Prashant up for adoption when her husband left her for his secretary. She couldn't afford both and chose Aarti because she had a weak immune system and needed breast milk to get well."
Everyone were shocked to discover Aarti had a twin brother. As they looked closer, they could see the resemblance between Prashant and Aarti.
"I'm coming too! Even I want to bond with my daughter!" Yash declared, but Aarti’s outburst cut him off.
"Nida is your daughter?" Aarti exclaimed, eyes wide. Everyone laughed.
"You have a pregnant brain, Aarti! I'm talking about *our* unborn child, the baby you're carrying," Yash explained. "You're crazy! How could I be Nida's father? When she was conceived, I must have been five or four years old!" he added.
"Oh! I never thought about it that way," Aarti smiled at Yash, who hadn't spoken to her in weeks since they returned from Mumbai. "The child isn't yours; it's Aman's child!" Maya interjected.
"No, Aman didn't impregnate Aarti, nor did he touch her the way a man touches his wife. *I* impregnated her five months ago, the day before my wedding. But what truly bugs me is that she planned to give my rights over my child to Aman. Thank goodness he's gone, out of our lives!" Yash announced.
"Yash!" Gayatri and Aarti gasped in unison. "Yash what?" he frowned."That's rude! That's not a nice thing to say about the dead," Gayatri scolded her son.
"Yash Bhai is totally drunk! He's wasted!" Patriek, Yash's younger brother, chimed in.
"Don't be foolish, Patriek Bhai! Yash Bhaiya isn't drunk; he's high!" Malhar, Yash and Patriek's cousin, countered.
"Yash Bhaiya *is* drunk. He's not a chatterbox, but he talks more than a radio when he's totally wasted," Patriek insisted.
"Yes, I'm drunk! Can you blame me, Chote? I deserve to get drunk! After all, I married two devious women! Everyone, clap for me, come on! One kept my child a secret from me. Not only that, she also kept Arpita's deceit from me!" he slurred.
"What deceit, Bhai?" Patriek asked. "That she only married me for my wealth, not because she loved me or anything!" He slurred.
"That's a lie! My Arpita isn't like that! She's lying!" Maya yelled glaring at Aarti. "No, she's not lying! I heard Aarti and Arpita's parents' conversation. Did you know Arpita's mother is a homewrecker?" Yash looked at his aunt.
"Shut up, Yash! How could you talk about your mother-in-law like that?" Maya snapped. "But she's a homewrecker, aunt!" Yash said between hiccups.
"Yash, just shut up! I won't hear another word about my friend!" Maya declared. "It's true! She's a homewrecker! Because of her and that spineless cheat, Satyendra, our mother died right in front of her eyes!" Prashant yelled, pointing at Aarti.
"Prashant, he's still your father! Don't talk about him like that!" Nida scolded her husband. "That man is not our father!" Aarti said, clutching her head as a sharp pain shot through it.
"No, he's nothing to me, and the same goes for you! Do I make myself clear?" Prashant glared at his wife.
"You and Aarti are my children," Satyendra said, standing at the door. He had come to find out from Aarti about his child, as Aarti seemed to know more about Radha and his daughter.
"No, we are nothing to you, Mr.! You are just a sperm donor who helped create us!" Prashant hissed.
"That's a deep blow, Prashant! Nice one!" a drunk Yash slurred.
"Yash, you're praising him? And you, Prashant, there are kids in here with us!" Aarti hissed, scolding them both.
Aarti's nose started bleeding, and everyone panicked, including Maya. Prashant quickly carried Aarti to her's and Yash bedroom, as Yash was totally wasted. Prashant left the room so Gayetri could helped Aarti clean up, and Aarti tried to reassure her she was fine.
"You not going anywhere. Both your brother and sister-in-law will come and stay here with us so you can bond with them. Am not going to let you out of my side! Do I make myself clear, Aarti?" Gayatri declared her decision.
"Okay, Mom. Can you call Prashant for me?" Aarti asked.
"Hmm. Okay, I will call him for you, but you should rest." Gayatri said, kissing Aarti forehead before leaving the room.
In the sitting room, Maya continued to insult Shoba, saying Arpita was just like her and she had married Yash for his wealth. "If I knew that Arpita was your daughter, I wouldn't have suggested her to marry my nephew. I thought she was Radha's daughter. After what you have done to my best friend, your daughter is so much like you," Maya glared at Shoba.
"Your daughter married my nephew for his wealth, just like you ruined my best friend's marriage for this spineless pig's wealth," Maya glared at Shoba and Satyendra.
Shoba kept her head down, hating the humiliation she was facing. "I'm so ashamed of myself for believing your lying daughter when she said Aarti was a home wrecker just like her mother who ruined her parents' marriage and that Aarti was after the Scindia's wealth," said Maya.
"My Aaru is not a home wrecker, Arpita is. She killed her and Aman's child," Yash said between hiccups.
"Prashant beta, Aarti is calling for you," Gayatri said.
"Why is she calling for him and not me? Only I can rock her world and make her come allover again," Yash frowned.
"Yash, there are kids here with us," Gayatri pulled Yash's ear as she scolded him.
"Yes, aunty, I will go up and see her," said a laughing Prashant.
"Call me Mom, you are Aarti's better half, that makes you my son after all, you are our Radha's son," Gayatri said.
"Okay, aunty," Prashant said. Gayatri glared at Prashant who quickly corrected himself. "I meant Mom," he smiled sweetly.
"Good, now go, Aarti is calling you," Gayatri said. "Do not call him her better half! Aarti is my wife, she's mine, got it?" Yash whined between hiccups. "You are her better Yash," Prashant said, and Yash smiled.
In AarYa's room, Aarti pleaded, "Please Prashant, do it for me." Aarti begged. "Fine, I will try, but I'm not promising you anything," he said.
"Thank you, Prashant, you are the best Aarti," she said happily. "I love you, little sis," he said. " Did they leave " Aarti asked. " No but aunt Maya is using venomous tongue on them. " Prashant laughed. " You should have seen them sitting there with their tails between their legs. " He added softly as if he was sharing a huge secret. The two siblings shared a laugh.
"Love you too, bro," she replied. "Can I come in?" Yash said from the door. "Yes, yes, please come in. You don't have to ask for permission, it's your bedroom. See you later, I will go and get mine and Nida's things, okay?" Prashant said, making his exit.
"Okay. Remember your promise," Aarti reminded Prashant of his task. "I didn't promise, I said I will try Aarti," said Prashant as he left.
Yash locked the door before walking towards Aarti, who frowned at him. "You look yummy, I want to ravish you right now, my wild cat," Yash slurred, walking towards Aarti. He started kissing her hungrily, then passed out cold, the alcohol finally taking its full effect.
Part 7
Aarti gazed at Yash, who was passed out on the bed. "Seriously, Yash, you can't just claim me like that and then pass out," she whispered, shaking her head. She kissed him on the forehead, her heart filled with love despite his infuriating behavior. "You're such a cold ass, but I love you still."
As she lay down beside him, her mind began to wander to the conversation she had with the doctor earlier that day before her accident. The words echoed in her mind, filling her with anxiety and uncertainty. *Should she tell her family about the pregnancy complications?* The fear of their reaction made her decide to keep her pregnancy complications a secret from the whole family.
The next morning, "Morning, Yash," Aarti greeted Yash, trying to sound cheerful. Yash winced, covering his ears. "Do you have to be so loud? Can't you just say good morning softly?" He hissed as she ran his hand over his temples.
Aarti's glared at him. "Am not loud" Yash told her she loud and she should shut her big mouth shut. As Aarti's hormones were getting the best of her "You good for nothing pig. You want loud, I will give loud. " She growled " I AM NOT LOUD YOU PIECE OF CRAP!" Aarti yelled at Yash.
"What the hell is wrong with you!, What is your problem?" He scrolwed at her. "You're my problem" she fired back. Prashant, who had come to check on Aarti, intervened before things escalated further. "Hey, hey, let's calm down, okay?" He walked towards Aarti and gave her a warm hug.
Yash's gaze turned to Prashant, his expression darkening when he saw him hug Aarti. "Hey, who there hell are you? Get away from my wife!" He hissed.
"Oh I see temporarily memory lose, that's the effects of getting drunk. You better get freshen up man I will take this firecracker with me cause she's going to drive you insane" Prashant laughed. Prashant and Aarti let the room.
Downstairs, the family was having breakfast. Yash joined them, apologizing for his behavior earlier.
Aarti softly told him, "You're forgiven... for now." "Forgive for what I was apologizing to Prashant not you. " He said has he set down on his sit.
Maya seemed off, and Aarti noticed. "Bua, are you alright?" Maya forced a smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. Why do you ask?"
Aarti raised an eyebrow. "You just seem a bit... off." She said, "Like a cat that just got splashed with water when it got caught trying to steal some cheese!"
They all laughed. "Cheese? Do cats even eat cheese?" The tension was broken, and the family continued their breakfast, unaware of the secrets Aarti was keeping.
"You are mad Yash said as he had a slice of bread and a glass of lemon juice cause knew that if he did eat anything his mother would forcefully shove some food down his throat and he could have that happen as the side of food made him feel vomiting.
After eating he went back to the room to get some rest so he could get over his hangover.

" If you're gonna do something, do it right, do it to the best of your ability, and do it to master it! " - Unknown.
Epilogue
Four months had passed since AarYa's wedding, and Aarti was now seven months pregnant. Yash showered her with love and care, his devotion was unwavering. Every morning, he would wake her up with sweet yet passionate kisses, and his gorgeous eyes would be shining with admiration and adoration for her.
"Wake up, sleepyhead," he whispered, his voice husky with love.
"Shut up, you bafoon, let me sleep," Aarti whined, snuggling even more deeper into the blankets.
"No, I won't let you sleep. I'm dying to taste your beautiful lips, get up sleeping beauty" Yash replied, his voice dripping with seduction as he kissed her.
Aarti yawned, stretching her arms. "What time is it?" She asked after they broke the passionate kiss.
"It's 9 in the morning, love. Get ready and come down for breakfast," Yash said as he gave one more sweet kiss, before getting out of bed.
Aarti went to the bathroom while Yash tidied up the bed then went to the kitchen to help prepare breakfast, Yash's face suddenly became pale, his eyes clouding with worry. Prashant, who was helping with breakfast, looked equally concerned.
"Yash, Prashant, what's wrong?" Nida asked, noticing their expressions.
"I don't know, why I feel so uneasy," Yash replied, his voice laced with anxiety.
"Me too," Prashant said. "Yash, go check on Aarti." Prashant push his brother in law lightly.
Yash rushed to their bedroom, his heart racing. He found the bathroom door open, the shower running. His heart sank as he saw Aarti lying in a pool of her own blood.
"Aarti! Oh, God, no!" he cried, rushing to her side.He picked her up, and dressed her in a bathrobe, cradling her in his arms, and called out for his mother. The family rushed to the room, shocked by the sight.
Gayatri's voice trembled as she asked, "Yash, what's wrong? Oh God, what happened to Aarti?"
"I don't know, Ma. I'm taking her to the hospital," Yash replied, his voice firm despite the panic.
At the hospital, Aarti was rushed into emergency care. The family waited anxiously, praying for her recovery.
Yash was numb, his world crumbling around him. "Aarti, please don't leave me" he whispered, his heart aching.
The doctor's words were grim: "She's got a tumor on her brain. If she doesn't wake up in 24 hours am sorry to say that she will be brain dead..."
Yash's world went dark, but he held on to hope that God would bring his Aarti back to him. He prayed, his heart pouring out to God.
Twenty-four hours later, Aarti woke up, surrounded by her loving family.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Yash asked, his voice shaking with emotion.
"I didn't want to worry anyone," Aarti whispered, her eyes filled with tears.
Yash held her close, his love shining brighter than ever before. "You'll never have to worry alone again, my love."
The twins, Ansh and Payal, were born, bringing immense joy to the family. As Aarti smiled, surrounded by her loved ones, Yash whispered, "I love you." Then she gave him a passionate kiss.
"I love you too," Aarti replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
And as they held each other, their love shone brighter than ever before, a beacon of hope in the darkest of times.
The end.
Sorry for a lame ending guys I didn't want to ruin the direction my story was heading.
