It seems like yesterday when the phenomenon of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon happened and changed many people's lives towards ITV. A show that captured our hearts and refused to let go of our minds. It made us laugh, cry, and fall head over heels for Arnav and Khushi. The iconic Rabba Ve and OST of IPK still strings our hearts as day one.

Ek Jashn brought a fresh air of old romance back to the screen. Flashing old scenes on a roll with a small twist of Arnav and Khushi's new roles as Mr and Mrs Raizada felt cute and refreshing.

Arnav Singh Raizada woke up missing his wife and asked Hari Prakash about her. In response, HP handed him an iPad, and Bhulakar Laad, the Governor, got a scolding from his beautiful wife for forgetting the importance of the day. A little nudge in his head, asking HP for the answer, brought another sweet admonishment. Ah, she made HP swear not to tell him, but the Bhulakar HP blurted out the truth anyway under her scary threats. Oops!

Apparently, this was not the first time. Laad Governor always forgot their important day, regardless of her silent treatments or being mad at him. This time, she was damn serious. Constant messages with all sorts of smileys were the reminders to do something special.

The great ASR was decorating the house, ballooning, wrapping, and blurting their love story in his own words. Amid all of this, he was searching for his petite wife, who was nowhere to be found, yet she was close enough to hear him complaining to HP about her.

Well, in between his preparations for his surprise for Khushi, he inquired about everything that could give him any clue about her and her wishes for how she wanted to celebrate, forgetting that all she wanted him to do was wish her on time.

After seeing that his Laad Governor was ready to face her, she told him where she had been all this time—right there, in their own home. He ran to his wife and hugged her tightly. You can feel the joy in her as well when she held him tight, too. She was missing the moment to wish him too. Now, he rebuked her for lying to him and making him go through hell. Here, we see forward and backwards walking, but she raised her finger to remind him of his fault.

Oh, Laad Governor, when will you learn?

She closed the door on him, and both agreed on solving a riddle. Maybe she had tested him to see whether he remembered those crucial moments which meant so much for her, just like those fireflies which brightened the dark paths of their lives, and his confession of love, which she had wanted to hear for so long. He didn't disappoint her at all. Without hesitation, he admitted what he felt for her every time, Har Baar!

"I love you dammit!"

He gifted her the red saree and patiently waited for his heart's queen to arrive. She stumbled over his steps once again with his radiant and innocent beauty in red, the very same way as the day before. He wanted to see her stumble upon his surprises for her. Holding her hand at every step as always, he brought her to the moment where her eyes sparkled like jewels, along with her innocent and pure smile. She kissed him with gratitude as a gift to him. One kiss sparked a thousand emotions like their first kiss, but it ignited his soul as always.

He gave her his most precious gift, the rose from her mother's garden. He knew how much she valued such gestures and claimed ownership of his sacred possessions, which he shared only with her. Holding her hand gingerly, he danced with her and never let her fall—a promise of his life like Hamesha.

He gifted her the sophisticated necklace she always liked. Only once did she give her choice to La, being envious; yet now, she was his, only his. Her wishes, preferences, and dreams were all for him, and he never refused to fulfil them. Even if he couldn't do them on time, he never could forget them.

Finally, how could he forget her sweet tooth? A delicious cake was there, and she gifted him with her smile, which he cherished as always. She hugged him as this was his biggest wish, and she never forgot how it soothed his mind and soul.

Last but not least, his open confession, "I love you, dammit!" with a satisfied smile, and her welcoming gesture with a warm hug to confess the same. "I love you too dammit!"

Was this the ending? No, it was the beginning of another journey, parallel to this real world, in our imagination, as "We all love you, dammit!"

It's been 10 years and the show is still as fresh. Bravo

Ek Jashn was the gust of wind which brought many memories with it. Simply enjoyed it though it was just memories. Nothing new was there. The last epi we had ArShi together. Epi size was small and only 8 with incomplete dreams again. But still it was a thrill.
