Dharundar team should have been more patient and let the wom kick in before making a fool of themselves with these block bookings. The film might have grown and earned respect but all is lost now. Terrible marketing team for sure.

Malpractise of anykind is a malpractise..if it is becoming a norm thats even more concerning and alarming. There is a reason Chavva does not get the same respect as a Saiyaara despite higher BO.

The line pretty much sums up the current wave of “based on real events” films.

So what's Jio in the mood for today? 40 Cr, 60 Cr, 100 Cr? Why not a 1000 Cr day? Might as well!!!

5-10% of Block Bookings is expected with a big film. The idea is to show a film is putting up big numbers which in turn attracts more footfalls. But 30%+ level is plain Fraud. Dhurandhar is going to be treated the same way Sky Force is treated- A Hoax!!

Neither does a fake success help anyone's career. The trade, the financiers, the producers know the real numbers. The guys headlining massive tent-pole films like Ramayana, Border will be guys with genuine Successes like Gadar, Animal. The numbers will do nothing for guys like Rajkumar Rao or Ranveer Singh in this case.

A very good movie

Best one in the espionage genre for sure

A little too "real" and gory for me, I am not used to watching such gore but this is the reality

Probably the best acting I have seen in main stream bollywood movie since forever, every actor was so good that Ranveer was in the background which was the running theme of the movie, hero was in the background observing everything and we felt everything that he did

I keep going back to all the scenes, waiting for part 2

Just saw the movie .A well made spy drama that remains etched in your memory much after the show has concluded.The film has been given a very realistic treatment and feels like a breath of fresh air .The execution of the material is so razor sharp that it keeps you hooked from the very first frame .”Uri The Surgical Strike” established Aditya Dhar as a solid story teller and he goes notches higher with this film.

The film amalgamates terror events that shook India with fictional story over the duration of 210 minutes.The film takes off in 1999 where an Indian plane has been hijacked by terrorist.It also integrates the events of Indian Parliament attack(2001),26/11 into the story .The detailings of these events are so well researched that you can not help but applaud the film maker!

Also the excessive run time does not bother because you really get immersed in the world of Dhurandhar.There are so many twists that you do not see coming which take away your breath!Even the romantic track which feels forced initially is vital to the main plot and changes the course of the story .

Ranveer Singh makes a solid comeback and delivers a solid act that silences his detectors.His body language,looks ,personality,dialogue delivery ,expressions are all top notch and its a new Ranveer that you get to see here.He conveys so much through his eyes .His performance gives you goosebumps!

Akshaye Khanna is the scene stealer .His mere presence evokes hatred and terror .The way his character has been designed is a masterstroke.He really explodes in the final chase scene in the jungle when he has a confrontation with Ranveer Singh.

R Madhavan shines in a brief part .He has gone through a complete makeover for this part and the effort shows!

Arjun Rampal has been underrated all through his career and finally gets a role that explores the unseen side of him .Playing a negative character to the perfection,he manages to send a chill down the spine with his act!

Overall Dhurandhar is an explosive film that lives upto the expectations .The sequel is hugely awaited now!!

It’s quite entertaining to see the haters crying and whining in every thread.

It shows the movie has landed and quite emphatically at that. Congratulations to the entire Dhurandhar team, especially to Ranveer ( the real eyesore for these haters) for this zor ka chaanta dheere se lagane ka….
