I can excuse him for trusting Pari over Tulsi even though it is difficult but I was talking about him trusting Ranvijay and His ex wife over Tulsi coz no normal man/human can do such thing
When it comes to Ranvijay again it’s his belief that his daughter is not such a fool to get trapped though he obviously has no clue what his daughter is truly like or capable of.
Also, Ranvijay has played it smarter than say Malti. He didn’t start off by giving Mihir a bad impression of himself but rather played the I am a humble but poor person card well. Mihir believes he can trust him because Ranvijay hasn’t lied about his monetary circumstances from Mihir at all. He also played coy. Also, given that his daughter is now a divorcee who carries the tag as well as someone whose mother provided a testimony against her in court, denting her character, Mihir sees an opportunity to get his daughter settled and is running away with it.
In his head his daughter has slim chances and in that if she’s found someone willing to ignore her past and think past the tags and the case attached to her, who comes across as genuine he has no reason to doubt him. Then Ranvijay further cements his place and gets into Mihir’s good books by getting Suhas, the guy who attacked Mihir’s office and nearly killed him, who tried to kill his son by setting him on fire, arrested.
The girl Tulsi brought turned on her and Mihir in his anger didn’t care to bother about Tulsi not being the sort of person who would ask anyone to lie let alone pay someone to do it.
So right now Tulsi appears to him as someone who is seeing things no one else can, who has no evidence, no witness beyond - believe me, Mihir. Perhaps when it came down to it - if this were a matter that was between them and affected them solely he would have been more considerate and given it a thought that he has been unfair to Tulsi and should at least consider what her POV is and then whatever confusion or misunderstanding has led to this conflict can be sorted by a conversation where they meet midway after clearing things.
But here he sees his daughter on the line - one who married a guy he picked for her and who as per her turned out to be an abusive husband and his family nearly killed her. In his head, Pari also suffered because he picked the wrong guy for her even if he doesn’t say it explicitly.
So right now it’s not about not knowing what kind of a woman Tulsi is but more of a what if she’s wrong too like I was and my daughter loses someone who was willing to accept everything that came with her, someone she loves all because his wife says something that no one else knows about, there are no proofs for and no witnesses against.
It’s not as simple as Mihir agreeing to Tulsi’s assessment of say a paint or a textile that is hardly worth the effort to invest his energy in or even fight about but their daughter.
Mihir ki harkatein aisi hain ki cancer se pehle woh naa ho jaaye
Woh Mihir ko ho gaya toh sach mein Gayatri ka pyaara toofan aa jaayega sirf Shanti Niketan mein hi nahi par Indian TV pe kyunki aaj tak kissi ki bhi himmat nahi hui hai aisa kuch dikhane ki, yahaan agar dikhaya aur woh bhi Mihir ke saath, serial ka hero aur apne aap mein itihaas rachdene waala kirdaar toh Ekta ki himmat maanni padegi.
