She came on MC..couldn’t be there on finale due to work. She was working on Kaise mujhe tum mil gaye

But still she could come. GK was the winner of MC. One video call or one hour appearance would not hurt . All the actors balance this. They are not the only couple.

Akanksha not being a "main lead" is exactly why her schedule is rigid.

Main leads often get flexibility because the production adjusts around them during emergency.

Supporting actors, parallel leads, or character actors don’t get that privilege.

If they take leave,and shot requires their character badly then shoots don’t stop for them they simply get replaced....

One of the reasons why Shehnaaz bhi nahi aa paayi as she is in Canada.

Akanksha has also said jab GK accha karta hain toh she doesn't go as he gets distracted.
