Tuluvas are people from Karnataka (Dakshin Kannada, Udupi) and Kasaragod in Kerala, who speak Tulu language.

Daivas are guardian spirits who protect the villages in Tulunadu and are worshipped (someone can give more details or correct me if I said something wrong)
