Up till now noone understands the reasoning of the MORAL gang. Which means there is a fault in it. RoTu never wanted to disclose the truth and this change in truth dynamic fed into their wish. Mannat was then emotionally manipulated with reference to how she felt when she found out about Aish. I haven't been able to understand DK's standpoint. He is a DCP after all. Maybe in a way he wanted to protect his mother. The MORAL gang were meant to lose this battle so the writing whether it made sense or not needed to reflect that.
So DK is going to ride into the sunset with Mannat and leave his mum too run Saluja Mansion even after the grandmother is killed? There were witnesses in that old age home that can attest to what his grandmother said. He even arrested the people.
