I think he says that a lot bcoz he keeps getting blame of manipulating and setting narratives. But it gives me the impression that he is playing a safe game. Always trying to be careful. He needs to show his confidence too at some situations.

If he is getting blamed by other housemates, why does he care about that? If he is not doing that, confidently say that in front of them.
