Congratulations Team India. Kinda feels like how Indians must have felt after the 1983 WC win. Its a huge huge achievement for the Indian women's team. Till now they were underestimated but they proved they too can achieve success through hard works, zeal and confidence.

I was so happy seeing the stadium packed with people cheering for the cricket team. I am sure that must have added more confidence to the team. Finally their hard work is recognized.

I don't like to term anybody as chokers. It is a great achievement for SA from the first loss by 10 wickets in the hands of England to reach the Finals even after losing their last group match in the hands of Australia.

Yeah ..it should have been wankede or eden gardens for nov 23..also happy that so many high profile people dint come ..it would have added only pressure to our girls..yesterday they prayed freely like any other match and the cup is here ❤️

Total bull! It is about how you play that night. We lost to WI in T20 WC 2016 semifinals (knockout match) at Wankhede only. And by this logic, Indian Women's Team should have won 2017 WC at Lords (1983 WC winning venue for India) where they lost in the Finals.

Congratulations to the girls, though! Everyone from the team contributed at different stages of the tournament. Deepti Sharma and Shafali Varma shone in the finals. Not to forget the brilliant fielding by Indian team in the Finals and how Harmanpreet used her bowlers.

Special mention to Wolvaardt for an exceptional knock. Well played, SA, really!
