Richa is a ruthless marauder 🔪🗡️

To be able to entrammel her efforts to decimate them is worthy of extolment !

Yes, that is true. But, their fielding is excellent, they saved nearly 7/8 fours.

We have to take care of our fielding, and bowling should be a calculated one. Restrict runs and take a few wickets intermittently.

So 299 to win. Can South Africa do it? If there is one game that could define the strength and resilience of this team, it would be incredibly difficult to ignore their determined display against hosts in Vizag. Elated by India's comeback with the bat and South Africa's early collapse (58/4), spectators screamed their hearts out cheering every run and wicket alike. Around the 20th over of the chase, with South Africa 5 down for 81, a large section of the fans left the stadium anticipating a cakewalk for the women in Blue. The usually quiet Wolvaardt perhaps loved that serene vibe. Not only did she dig deep with the bat, but she along with Tryon denied India a wicket for the next 16 overs. 108 required off 84 balls with 4 wickets in hand - India firm favourites to win the game. With skipper out, it was de Klerk and Tryon who now had to weather the storm. Thankfully for them, 80 percent of the stadium was empty by then. Oh, what could this bowling all-rounder de Klerk and out-of-form Tryon do? One thing the rich experience of playing multiple T20 leagues can certainly help you with is to tackle pressure like it's a daily routine. The duo brought all that experience and more into their game that night and laid the foundation for an awe-inspiring finish. While skipper Harman indulged in emergency meetings with her bowlers, de Klerk was swiftly sipping the ice-cold water to breathe life into a record run-chase. The sparse crowd kept getting thinner with every decisive blow de Klerk hit towards the end, and when she eventually launched Amanjot for a game-sealing maximum, you could almost hear her decibels of joy from any corner of the stands. It was that silently loud. Can they repeat something similar today?

Half the job already done by her by dropping catches.. remaining job is to play 5 maiden overs and then get out on duck 🦆

They're running the rope across the outfield. Doesn't seem to be a lot of dew. There's a buggy whirling across the outfield as well and its tyres look fairly dry.
