Manish Gupta unhappy with Sarkar Raj
When the Bachchans' Sarkar Raj released, there was quite a lot of apprehension in the air. And why not, considering Ram Gopal Verma's ventures in 2007 were mostly disasters. Then came the verdict: Ramu and the Bachchans had reason to rejoice.The film was well received. There is someone who may not be as happy though — the film's scriptwriter, Manish Gupta.
Apparently, after the success of Sarkar, Manish came up with an idea for a sequel. His suggestion was rejected by Ramu. Miffed, Manish approached the Bachchans with his idea, but they turned him down as well. Abhishek even turned down Manish's other venture titled Stone Man for unexplained reasons. In fact, hearsay is Abhishek and Manish didn't share good vibes on the sets of Sarkar. Obviously, Manish shouldn't have expected any co-operation. No wonder the scriptwriter is unhappy with the well made sequel to Sarkar.
