Nolan-esque? There was nothing Nolan-esque about it, the movie is so ridiculous, the lead male character is horrible, he plays a politicians son who thinks he can get away with harassing this girl and her family with the power that he has, it's so toxic, why is this stuff being shown as love? It is not love, the character should be admitted to a psychiatric facility, it is not normal or safe behaviour

Didnt watch this movie but pretty sure most of them who went to watch it thought it would be like Sanam Teri Kasam!

Saw the film .Ek dewaane Ki Dewaaniyat is a disappointment from the word go.The film claims to be a love story but the romance in the film feels lifeless and boring .A dragging drama that has been stretched for 2 hrs that ends up testing your patience and tolerance limit!

The start is not too bad with our hero rejecting a deal that is worth crores .His life changes when the heroine makes an entry .The portions where they visit an army camp is watchable.But things go downhill after this point.It is not clear why Harshvardhan falls so deeply for Sonam because there is no proper build up .It is also not clear why she rejects him because he comes across as a nice guy.

Still the first half is bearable enough.But the problem begins to surface at interval pooht .The announcement made by heroine in the public is quite bizzare and unfortunately the entire second half is based on this which is why the film feels like a complete farce after a point.

The one sided romance gets really nauseating and the silly development one after another dilutes your interest.Even the climax which should have been emotional fails to move you.You are actually glad the film is finally over!

Harshvardhan is the sole bright spot here.He gives a very sincere performance.Sonam finally gets a big role in Bollywood after minuscule roles in HF5 and Baaghi 4 .She is decent enough!

Overall Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is disappointing!The better title for this film is Ek Chutiya ki Chutiyapa!

also, harshvardans character doesn't love sonam bajwa's character, he is just infatuated by her onscreen/star persona. She is playing an actress, so before he met her all he knew about her is that she is an actress/star, he's only ever seen her onscreen, and that's who he is obsessed with. That isn't love, he doesn't even know her, he doesn't even try to get to know her, he is like those people who stalk celebrities, a very creepy and deranged character.

It's like someone meeting deepika or katrina for the first time and saying that they are in love with them and going to marry them lol
