Well for me the thing is the backbenchers(amal, shehbaz, baseer) are so cheap that it's hard to support any of them. Kunika to na ghar ki na ghat ki situation hai and neelam tanya doesn't belong there even if they think they belong. Tanya is also losing because of one thing. Her lack of self respect infront of amal. He literally pushed her still she is normal to him. You are right maybe makers wanted this. I can't see the old tanya anymore
. Also nehal and farhana are noway good dono hi ghatiya hai like the amal gang. Neelam follower bhi hai and usme bhi ghatiyapan hai
Regarding frontbenchers about others I am not talking but pranit and bajaj are active players imo. Maybe bajaj got a golden platter after he got targeted but this has happened many times in other seasons as well. One has to maintain that if they want stay longer or win. Also pranit's standup comedy was always a content be it good or bad. I think these two are active from day 1
My view on why Tanya is a favorite but not a winner of BB (I took recent events as example and relatively shorter):
Tanya has given quite a lot of footage and entertainment of some sort or another, there was always something left to talk about revolving about Tanya. Whether good, bad, amazing, ridiculous etc. That aside.. She was a favourite and very promising.
With being entertaining alone, one doesn't become a winner material I suppose. One of the most famous examples is Shenaz.
Tanya is definitely one of the main pillars of BB19 but instead of taking clear stands for the right things, on the right time, she was not always in the lead.
She falls back to crying, self misery, making everything about herself.. In one way she did stand for her friendship(s) but always made it about herself, again in some way or another. Being a good friend is more than holding on to a friendship just for the name of it. Also for herself, the way she is being treated at times, and still to forgive and get back to that friendship is a big thing. If that behavior does not change then it becomes annoying and looks like you do not have any self worth.
So this is the confusing part. In one way she seems to be or seems to be shown as a self centered person. She hardly asks questions to know another's viewpoint on matters, only of it's about her issues and equations.. And then at times, it seems like she has low self-esteem issues as she doesn't stick up for herself. Example is that pushing away, or making negative comments on her by a Amaal and others.
Set your friends straight too. She does not do that. When was she shown to give Neelam a dose of truth when she loses herself, her temper, her words or also motivates to stop making Chai for example. Even when Tanya refused to do some work, Neelam did it on her behalf. No thank you or taking it over or stopping Neelam. Because is a Neelam is a come in handy friend to have.
Same for Amaal. She did wel sticking up for Neelam. I think it was the first time I saw Tanya in that mode. Dramatic but good. When in the 2nd act, Amaal took over.. Those words and actions.. Not good.. Still she was in team Amaal. Why? Her choice her reasons, but audience will not see that is a winner mentality.
So for Tanya:
Entertaining and driving force, yes! She will go far and in the long way, that is a win! That is the win..!
Winner of BB19, holding trophy, nope!
