You know it's bad when they have to go back 20 years ago and be look, look Rani won for Hum Tum

It can't be easy being an Aloo fan, from her being disliked, to being humiliated by her own husband, to her saying or doing some dumb stuff etc

You know very well she keeps buying these awards with that awful man Karan. She didn't deserve it at all. Such an unlikeable loser.

Gotta love the goalpost shifting when facts can't be denied. On the other hand mega flop Jigra was called out openly by Al Jazeera for self booking and phir bhi hit na hui. Not to forget ghosted by the OTT audience also.

There was nothing "popular" to award Alia with for her performance in Jigra...if the respective jury found her performance award-worthy, then they should have gone with the critics award.

The same goes - imo - for Abhishek and Kartik... it was okay to give them an award but it would have more suited to be in the critics' category as their performances weren't popular.

Also Alia's wording of the post and she not being there to receive the award personally add to a negative impression.

But anyways, now it's too late to do anything about it... for another time her winning a best actress award has a touch of fishiness.

That's what I wrote in the other thread, too:

It isn't positive for her...and if it happened because of Alia just wanting this award then it will turn out to be negative for her popularity and her life will get even more unhappy.

Although I often like your comments but I don't think that t h i s is a point to consider here...
