Are you serious? You are showing me Tihaar Jail.. not some PG or girls hostel... your crime will be very minutely documented in jail records that you have killed this very Daya's wife, Aviraj is the eye witness and him being your husband has added the extra weight to his testimony against you in court.. So how and what will you hide from the Jail staff ??? In fact a meeting between the accused and the victim-side cannot happen the way you are showing like they are strolling in a park...

I need some realism even in fiction...can't tolerate otherwise... I get distracted and disinterested the moment i sense the lack of sense..

I am putting up with all this only for this guy..

LOL oh so that's the excuse they gave for this "aesthetic" meeting of Avika in the jail? smiley37

These are just Palki "aesthetic" touches in the show, man.....realism toh khair chhod do, waise bhi nahin milega ITV pe....but it becomes extra comical when they become this desperate to romanticize jail meetings smiley36

Kajal is a joker just showing false bravado like most current ITV FLs....she is fully despo for Aviraj even after what all he did to her.....and Aviraj is shown reveling in her despogiri for him....lol this is an "angsty story" as per Palki and Krushal fangirls smiley36

And still they wonder why they are not getting TRPs on Hindi TV....lol jail backdrop ko dhang se establish nahin kiya and now doubling down on showing more disjointed things to force "lowe story" track which doesn't fit anywhere in the story.....lol

Jab aise blind stans mile ho toh actor used to think themselves as some superior who knows everything and whatever they're doing is exceptional and grand 😂

The way blind stans appreciate his Aviraj character and ping that Palki to show more romantic scenes between Kajal and Aviraj looks so gross to me

That Kajal is also a despo character only jo jail mai Karwachauth ka vrat rakh Rahi hai and doing drama of burning her hand after applying mehndi and udhar wo gunda Aviraj melting seeing her doing such drama

The way ITV represents their FL now as a doormat is absolutely ridiculous...instead of taking revenge on Aviraj she and her beti will forgive her later part in the story is cheap and disgusting to think

But aise blind stans mile ho actor ko toh they used to become arrogant and thought himself as a great actor

Aise actors skills hone ke bad bhi cannot grow much in their career if this sort of attitude they have.

Leena may have an uncanny ability to hook viewers initially—. But her execution is where it falls apart totally. her execution is completely amateurish. She takes a handful of traits and quirks of a character and then forces them into the most absurd and illogical paths just to stretch episodes, shock the audience, or artificially create drama. Ani’s arc in Jhanak is a perfect example. A character who had subtle depth, jealousy, and charm suddenly ends up disowning his own child in the end, after all the build-up, emotional hurdles, and conflicts have been resolved. And why? Not because it made narrative sense, but because Leena needed a twist—something sensational to “keep things moving.” That’s lazy plotting masquerading as drama, plain and simple.

You can literally feel the disconnect when watching. The initial engagement works, yes—the tension, the longing stares, the slow unraveling of emotions—but the story becomes rudderless once she starts relying on illogical “twists” or forced conflicts. Characters who were once nuanced become caricatures of themselves, making decisions that contradict everything we’ve seen before. The audience sees it, but because of the initial hook, some keep watching, hoping things will make sense. Usually, they don’t.

This pattern is clear across her shows: she builds emotional investment meticulously, but she rarely honors it. Instead of satisfying conclusions or authentic growth, she opts for chaos, sudden reversals, or unnecessary “redemption arcs” that feel contrived. The viewer ends up frustrated because the emotional journey she made us embark on is constantly undercut by her episodic, shock-driven storytelling.

So yes — while her “pulling in” technique is undeniably effective for short-term engagement, the long-term payoff is shallow, inconsistent, and extremely frustrating. The charm is fleeting, and the emotional satisfaction? Almost non-existent.

Honestly, it’s infuriating because she clearly understands the power of emotional nuance—the slow, restrained build-up of connection, longing, and tension—but then she undermines all of it with her mechanical, almost lazy way of extending episodes without real story logic. And the worst part? This pattern repeats across her shows, so experienced viewers can spot it immediately.and one show "Jhanak" has given us lifetime of experiences...🤣

In short: she’s a total cheater as a writer. The audience can enjoy the initial thrill, but once the illusion cracks, it’s frustration, confusion, and eye-rolling all the way through.

Hey Asmi!!!

Today’s Anirudh is nothing like the Anirudh we once knew, they’re worlds apart.

She truly portrayed the man from the synopsis, while we ended up trapped as prey in that illusion, a complete pure illusion and a web of deception! 🤐

Watching Kyunki S2 these days, the content is definitely clingy, but the writing feels somewhat balanced with those light-hearted family moments. Loving Vrinda and Angad there! ❤️

Tbh, ITV has completely lost its charm. These days, the sole purpose of entertainment seems to be generating revenue, nothing more.

Hiiii Zainab diii

Illusion is exactly the word. The Anirudh we rooted for felt real, layered, conflicted yet composed. Today’s portrayal doesn’t just feel different — it feels like a caricature wearing the same name. The essence, the intelligence, the restraint… all gone. What we’re left with is a hollow version created for noise, not narrative.

And that’s the sad part — ITV once knew how to build characters you could emotionally invest in. Now most shows work like trap mechanisms — lure you in with a synopsis and then switch routes entirely for TRP gimmicks.

Is "kyun ki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi s2 " good?

Waise say what you will about Ekta Kapoor’s shows, but at least there was a template that understood emotional rhythm. You’d get drama, sure. You’d get vamps, twists, misunderstandings — all the usual ITV spice. But in between all that chaos, there will be genuine breathers —light-hearted family moments, ridiculous yet endearing nok-jhoks,celebrations, comic relief characters, romance tracks that gave you butterflies instead of migraines. There is a balance, a sense of emotional pacing. Even at their most dramatic, Ekta’s serials know when to pause and let the audience smile.

Leena Gangopadhyay, on the other hand, writes as if the world will explode the moment a character experiences even three seconds of happiness. It’s 24x7 chaos, like she’s in a competition to see how many breakdowns, betrayals, guilt trips, and toxic monologues she can fit in one episode.

No warmth. No relief. No human pause. Just non-stop torture in the name of “intensity”.

And honestly? Leena’s writing has single-handedly increased my respect for Ekta Kapoor — something I never thought I’d say in this lifetime. 🤣

At least Ekta understood that viewers come to TV not just to suffer, but to feel — and that includes joy, laughter, comfort, softness. Leena writes like she’s allergic to happiness.

Between Ekta’s melodrama with mithai breaks🤣 and Leena’s psychological warfare with no exit, I know which one I’d pick any day.

Its only for this guy, i have watched a good number of kkbt episodes with lot of fastfwding ofcourse.. picked up a bit of Bengali.. but i lost interest when i sensed trp stunts

Rishton ka Manjha i have nt given a try yet..

Ranu pelo lottery, youtube has only a few random episodes.. don't know how to get the full series.. but in those few episodes available i could not tolerate the theatrics of the mother character... too loud for me..

Watched Imlie also bcz Dibya ji has mentioned it a zillion times.. liked Sumbul's acting in the village.. and the actress playing Aditya's mother.. and also Mithi..

Tv serials otherwise i would mute the tv even if a promo showed up bcz i can't stand the lack of even basic realism...

Like its laughable Kajal saying ' I can't let the jail-staff know that i have a history with Aviraj/Daya... '
