Well, I still want to give her the benefit of doubt that it's she who 'buys' those awards.

it does not matter who bought it for her. they obviously bought it because she told them to do so.

her PR is so clever. thanks to them and Aliafare awards she is now known as the "best actress" India has ever witnessed. she is compared with meryl streep to Amitabh bachchan by her PR. what is her obsession with being known as the "best actress" anyone has ever witnessed?

I feel bad for those who got it by merit like Nutan, Madhuri, Sridevi, Meena kumari and others. they will be belittled just because they have less number of Aliafare awards.

It had been said about SRK, too, but he didn't (not even asked for them except for the one he frankly told about and would have got anyways) ...he got the awards because others wanted that he got one...

So, I thought that, maybe, it's the same for Alia...

now I also have doubt on the NA she won.
