Yes, per this season, Tulsi and Mihir celebrated their 38th anniversary in the first few episodes. Karan probably is in his mid 30s per this and Nandini has to be around the same. Here’s the catch though, while we have no idea what happened to Bhoomi and Manthan, we have got an acknowledgment that Parth is very much around. He’s also older than Sameera and Raunak. Sameera already seems like she’s a teenager, perhaps 15 or so. Parth might be 18 or so… which means that a teenage Karan had Parth with a teenage Nandini. If at some point Bhoomi and Manthan are back or worse, Eklavya, this whole timeline goes for a toss.

Coming back to your original post, they tried going fast foward on tracks and a light hearted drama however week 3 Saturday trp dropped to a low of 1.4 in ratings and this Pari track and Noyna Mihir Tulsi drama got Saturday ratings up by 64% and overall, Kyunki is just 0.1 short of being #1. It has the highest time spent for any program on television.

The show is boring, I completely understand.

As for Amar, let’s just say that he was the reason Mihir became iconic, he’s now the reason most people wish Mihir had stayed dead.

I’m not at all surprised that drama boosted the ratings. It’s Kyunki after all

I bet if Tulsi somehow is made to recreate her iconic scene that leads to Pari flying through the air as she’s shot gasping Maa, it might actually be the biggest thing on Indian TV in the recent history

Also a nice little gesture to show and prove equality - no matter if you’re her son or her daughter, if you cross a certain line Tulsi will shoot you.

Really!? That bad?

A daily show heroine might not have a lot of things from common sense to acting skills but the 3 things she never lacks are makeup, new costumes (regardless of how poor she’s shown) and challenges.

Ekta even ended the 1st season with a challenge - to Tulsi and our mental faculties at the same time regarding why Parvati had to call her all the way to an isolated, abandoned cliff to simply tell her she’s raised Parth. Everyone had to do a lot of mental gymnastics to figure out how did Parth even land with Parvati, how did they miss him in so many KGGK episodes, how did no crossover episode lead to the reunion of the Virani family with their child thanks to the Aggarwals; and most importantly, why couldn’t Parvati have simply conveyed this to Tulsi in a restaurant or a cafe or even a Mandir or any regular place. Why did they have to go to the cliff again where Tulsi made a human kite out of her son?
