Armaan getting ****ed was dumb.makers love to mock sensitive issues

Not comparing Abhimanyu with Armaan (smiley11) nor Aaru with Geetanjali. (Never)

The situations seemed a bit similar to me, also it doesn't reduce Armaan's responsibility, but since G2 also got into it her eyes wide open, everyone has to bear the consequences of their actions.

both suffered the consequences of their decisions.

Blaming geetanjali soley for the whole chaos is not logical.Armaan had a fair part in this chaos.

He should have stopped being a pendulum and should have chosen sides clearly and should not have entertained geetanjali at first place.

Armaan and geetanjali where adults and armaan was not a kid,but a grown ass man who could have given a fair thought before engaging with geetanjali at first place.

Geetanjali on other hand destoryed her sanity by taking a dumb decision

@b: true. They weren't teenagers or small children jo emotionally faisla le. It was partly a decision taken in spite because Abhira had married Anshuman. When he realised she didn't, he regretted his decisions but it was too late.

Dono hi dumb hai.

Honestly, I haven’t watched Gen 3 so don’t know the in depth details of every track but yes I did read about Arohi and Abhimanyu’s engagement which didn’t go through finally. Did Abhimanyu face any consequences for his actions then ?

Since this thread was a tribute to Geetanjali, her actions from start of leap have been highlighted where she always had different intentions than what she portrayed outside. Getting into a doomed relationship willingly using threat and then crying foul doesn’t make sense when the other person in words and actions has clearly showed his priorities.

All this doesn’t reduce Armaan’s responsibility, agreed. This time, he was very clear about everything with her before they got engaged and was not being pendulum giving any kind of hopes or promises to her.

I don’t think it was a decision taken in spite because he already accepted that Abhira was getting married to Anshuman before (their first marriage which halted at mandap) and this time around since he spoke to Anshuman the night before and requested him to take care of Maira. He was heart broken and had a breakdown post that but didn’t show any signs of moving on with anyone after that. Geetanjali also knew she didn’t have any chance with Armaan so had a spite with him and returned to Mount Abu only to come back to scare Maira and do suicide drama in Udaipur rather than Mount Abu smiley36

Kudos to this thread for bringing out g2’s char in depth!!!

Acc to me, she was initially soft hearted, Inspite of knowing everything

1. She tried not to get M’s secret out to Ab.

2. She agreed to marry Ar Inspite of knowing he doesn’t love her, why man? So I thought she is real attached to M..

3. She saved M, so Ar proposed her to marry coz M wished so( this was Ar’s fault)

4. Then she started manipulating M against Ab..which mom does that?

5. After this how come her focus shifted to Ar, like wanting him crazy?? So did she act before that she loved M?

6. She did suicide drama for what?? She could still meet M, who stopped her from meeting with M? So this made me think her priority was not M at all..

7. After marriage inspite of Ar cleared everything that he wont love her, she stooped so low that she took advantage of drunk person .. this is totally wrong!!!

8. She shouted on M and finally tried to kill Ab and M for Ar… this and point 7 are worser than all the above!!!

5th point was bad character writing.

Still can't get over that she loved maira once.

She deserved a dignified exit like vedika.

Her sudden shift from maira to armaan was weird as we never saw that she was actually interested in armaan from start as during first engagement even she was shocked by the proposal from dadu.

Writers could have shown events that showed more layers of geetanjalis character.

Writers have really went beserk with writing now
