This makes more sense with Vikrant being oblivious to the truth and Dhairya being his BdB..

Vikrant already takes enough stand for mannat ….he already told her not to talk to mannat like that as she doesn’t have right ..

Again at the puja too he will say that he doesn’t accept his mom’s superstitions

Yes he still doesn’t blast at her because generally sons do not go extreme way unless the mother is trying to kill the DIL

They still Hope for peace and Hope that soon the mother will come around.

I love vikrant here ..he actually has a weakness for his mom ..which the makers are trying to address

What makes it interesting is ..no matter what , his love for mannat is of some other level

Nothing can stop him from loving her and separate him from her ..
