Unfortunately (again) it seems that Janhvi is a 'weak' factor of the movie (albeit her role is important)... curious how she got this role...like Alia in Jigra??? forcing her on the director? (like also done with Brahmastra, btw)

It’s Kjo. He likes to put his nepo girls in between talented actors.
As boi is of no interest to me, I took a look at Sacnilk...and exactly what I thought: neither the Martin Scorsese part nor the interesting story nor the really good director attract much audience (and is it even released in overseas???).
Going to the theatres has become too expensive - moneywise and energywise ... and for many the pass-time - even after Covid - has shifted to 'homebound' when watching movies...
This movie’s day one is only 29 lacs

Well, it's not a 'mass' distribution... still, the interest to watch it in a theatre is less than lukewarm... however, I'm confident that it is a movie worth to get watched
Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Homebound’ earned just Rs 29 lakh on day 1
Haroon Rashid loved the movie
Omg this tugs at your hearts strings
I just sat in my seat even after the credits rolled
:*(
As I know how this movie happened, I would like to give credit to the NYT writer, the director, to the leading male performers & some others... but as much I liked that Dharma backed this story, I loath Karan for diluting the experience by his manipulations...
