"Hum Tanya ko arrest kar rahe hain."

Arjun announced to the team, as soon as everyone assembled in the conference hall.

"Sir per kyun.?"

Chhotu was the first one to ask , while others looked confused.

"Kyunki Tanya ne hi sab kuch kiya hai."

Arjun reasoned.

"Per sir hame toh sirf uspe doubt hai na? Proof kahan hai.?"

Ayesha questioned.

"Proof Tanya khud hai. Usse arrest karke puchhenge toh vo sab kuch bata degi."

Arjun said , standing up from his chair and continued.

"Jo paise aur gehne hame mile hain vo chori ke hain Mamta ji ke ghar se vo chori ke hain.

Hame ab tak jitne bhi evidence aur statement mile hain usse indirect doubt Tanya pe hi jaati hai, per usse saabit karne ke liye koi thos saboot nahi hai. Kyun?

Kyunki Tanya ne jaan bujh ke aesi situation create ki hai jisse ki agar uspe shaq jaaye bhi toh bhi koi faida na ho.

He said in a flat tone thus she abruptly kept mum, and he continued.

"Toh ye sab usne jaan bujh ke hame gumrah karne ke liya kiya hai, taaki hum sab issi me uljhe rahe.

Riya explained thoughtfully.

"Toh iska matlab ye bhi ho sakta hai ki Mamta ji ko heart attack iss wajah se aya ho."

Ayesha narrowed her gaze.

Chhotu pointed out.

Shree murmured to himself.

Arjun answered him straightening himself up ,then quickly added.

"Shree, Sakshi, Ayesha Tanya ke office jao, vo wahan ho sakti hai.

Aur baaki hum uske ghar jaate hain."

"Ok sir."

Everyone nodded getting up from their respective seats and started walking out of the hall ,when Ayesha took the chance pulling back Riya for a moment.

"Kya hua.?"

Riya asked curiously.

"Tumhe Arjun sir ne daanta kya subah subah.?"

Ayesha asked, much to Riya's confusion.

"Huh ? Nahi toh."

"Arjun sir ko hospital me hone wali case ke baare me pata hai, issliye mujhe laga sir tumhe daantenge aake ki tumne unhe bataya nahi tha."

"Kya? Sir ko pata hai ? Kaise.?"

"Vo sir kal raat hospital aaye the aur unhe pata chal gaya, mai tumhe kal raat hi batana bhul gayi.

Per achha hua sir ne daanta nahi, bhul gaye honge uss baat ko."

Ayesha answered quickly, meanwhile Riya stood registering her words.

"Chalo ab vo log intezar kar rahe honge."

Ayesha pulled her out of the bureau along with herself , thus Riya just followed her quietly , before they headed towards the cars.

On reaching the destined addresses they searched for Tanya , but did not find any trace of her.

"Sir Tanya aaj office nahi aayi hai. Aur na hi usne yahan kisko kuch bola hai chhuti lene ke liye."

Shree informed over the call.

"vo yahan ghar pe bhi nahi hai."

Arjun said from the other end.

"Jarur usse pata chal gaya hoga ab vo pakde jaane wali hai, issliye bhaag gayi."

Ayesha murmured.

"Vo bhaag ke zyada se zyada uske paas jayegi jo uske sath in sab me mila hua hai."

Riya added.

"Sir mai uska number track karta hun, pata chal jayega uska last location."

Shree said quickly getting inside the SUV along with Ayesha and Sakshi.

"Uski jarurat nahi hai Shree, tum log yahan aa jao. "

Arjun said in a calm voice.

"Huh? Hum usse track nahi kar rahe hai? Kahin vo Mumbai chhod ke bhaag gayi toh.?"

Sakshi asked.

"Vo kahin nahi bhaag rahi hai. Tum log Tanya ke ghar se jo raasta jaata hai wahan aake mujhe phone karo."

Arjun answered before disconnecting the call.

"Sir Tanya apne ghar aur office dono me nahi hai. Toh hum uska pichha kyun nahi kar rahe hain.?"

Chhotu questioned getting inside the car.

"uski jarurat nahi hai chhotu, vo khud aajayegi wapas."

Arjun answered from the driver seat ,after parking the car to the roadside a little far from Tanya's house.

Chhotu being confused looked back at Riya , who looked confused as well.

"Kya aapko pata tha Tanya bhaagne wali hai sir.?"

Riya asked, thus Arjun looked to the sideways not completely turning to her then answered.

"Maine Ravindra Nath ko subah phone kiya tha ye batane ke liye ki hum Tanya ko arrest karne wale hain."

"Kya.? Uske papa ko.?"

Chhotu exclaimed in shock.

"Toh kya Tanya ke papa ne uski help ki bhaagne me.?"

Riya asked further.

"Toh hum yahan kiska wait kar rahe hain.?"

She added quickly.

"Sab pata chal jayega bas thoda wait karo."

Arjun said looking back ahead.

"Tanya ke papa Tanya ki help kar rahe hain, iska matlab kahin Tanya apne papa ke sath milke hi vo paise aur gehne toh nahi churaye.?"

Riya murmured after a moment of silence.

"Nahi re Riya vo aesi chori karne wali nahi dikhti, jarur uske papa ne usse majbur kiya hoga."

Chhotu shook his head, earning a pointed look from Arjun.

Riya sighed not getting a proper answer from her brain or even Arjun thus she leaned back on the seat staring at Arjun's side frame.

The only problem was whenever she wasn't thinking about the case her mind kept drifting back to Arjun, and that reminded her of Ayesha's words from earlier.

If he knew about what happened in the hospital then why he hadn't scolded her yet? He even called her to his cabin and there he could have yelled on her for irresponsibility but no, all he did he ask was something else that she found too difficult to answer.

Arjun suddenly looked up to the rear-view mirror while Riya followed his gaze moving her eyes to the mirror and their eyes met.

She instantly looked away without a word, while Arjun too diverted his attention back to the road.

For the next few hours they waited in the car with Shree's car in the other end of the road , until Arjun got a call from an unknown number.

"Hello."

Arjun answered the call instantly.

"Hello sir abhi abhi vo nikli hai Mamta ji ke ghar se auto se. jaise aapne kaha tha maine usse bata diya ki aap log dhund rahe the usse aur vo aapse jaake mile."

The man said from the other end.

"Thik hai."

Arjun cut the call, quickly dialing Shree's number.

"Tanya ghar pe aayi thi? Hum usse pakadne jaa rahe.?"

Chhotu suddenly sat alert.

"Nahi. Hame usse abhi pakadna nahi hai bas uska pichha karna hai.

Hello Shree.?"

"Yes sir.?"

Shree answered from the other end.

"Abhi abhi Tanya apni ghar se nikli hai ek black car me. Hame uska pichha karna rahe, dhyan rahe usse pata nahi chalna chahiye ki hum uske pichhe hain."

"oh ok sir."

"ye Arjun sir ke dimag me chal kya raha hai? Shikar samne hai toh hame usse pakad lena chahiye hum uske sath khel kyun rahe hain.?"

Shree murmured confusingly once after ending the call.

"Sayad sabko ek sath pakadne ke liye.?"

Ayesha raised her brow, making Shree sigh.

"Chalo.Black car ka pichha karna hai hame. Aaj toh ye sare sayad ka jawab dhundna hi hai."

"Agar Tanya bhaag gayi thi toh vo ghar wapas kyun aayi.?"

Riya murmured thoughtfully.

"Kya pata vo surrender karne ETF bureau jaane ke liye wapas aayi ho.?"

Chhotu narrowed his gaze at her from the front seat.

"Chhotu tumhe kuch zyada hi bharosa nahi hai uspe.?"

Riya asked in a low voice leaning a little towards his seat.

"Pata nahi kyun mujhe abhi bhi lag raha hai bichari ne kuch nahi kiya."

Chhotu whispered, earning a weird look from her.

"Jis raaste vo jaa rahi hai definitely bureau toh nahi jaa rahi hai Chhotu."

Arjun said interrupting them thus they both looked ahead , realizing the path was indeed completely opposite from the way to the bureau and hence Chhotu abruptly kept mum.

"ye kis taraf jaa rahi hai.?"

Sakshi asked as they followed the car to an abandoned place and the black car finally came to an halt ,thus Shree quickly applied a break keeping an eye on the car from a far.

Tanya got off the car and went inside the place that looked like a closed factory and suddenly Ayesha remembered something.

"Ek min Tanya ke papa ka ek factory hua kata tha jo property dispute ki wajah se unhone band kar diya tha, ye jagah ussi factory ke adress me registered hai."

"Oh toh Tanya yahan apne papa se milne aayi hai."

Shree mumbled, when he noticed Arjun's car approaching the building from the other direction and stopped right in front of the black car.

Tanya stopped on her track turning around , but as soon as her gaze fell on Arjun and others coming out of the car she ran inside without any delay.

Shree drove the car quickly joining the team and they walked inside pushing the iron gate wide open.

"Tum log yahan.?"

Ravindra Nath eyed them furiously with Tanya beside him ,accompanied by few other men.

"Tumne bulaya inhe.?"

He asked this time eyeing Tanya who shook her head.

"Nahi. Mujhe nahi pata tha ye log mere pichhe hain."

"Toh phir? Inhe pata kaise chala.?"

"Vo tumhe jaanne ki jarurat nahi hai. "

Arjun interrupted them.

"Tum dono ne milke kiya ye sab kuch? Achha hoga chup chap surrender kardo."

Chhotu spoke firmly.

"Dono nahi chhotu, teeno."

Arjun corrected him pointing at somewhere to the left thus eyes turned to that direction and everyone stood shocked finding another girl standing there looking exactly like Tanya.

"Huh? 2 Tanya.?"

Shree exclaimed looking in between the two girls.

"Subah maine jo kuch bhi kaha tha vo sab sach tha sirf ek baat ko chhod ke. Tanya ko na koi beemari hai aur na hi usne kuch kiya.

Sab kuch baaki dono ne kiya."

Arjun clarified , making everyone gape at him in surprise.

"Dekha maine kaha tha na Tanya ne kuch nahi kiya."

Chhotu murmured in a voice only audible to Riya beside him.

"Per inn dono me Tanya kaun hai.?"

Riya questioned him looking confused herself.

"Per ye dusri hai kaun.?"

Ayesha questioned.

"Vo tum logon ko jaanne ki jarurat nahi hai."

Ravindra Nath shouted motioning his men to attack the officers and the ETF team was ready to fight back.

The team members fought with the goons one after another , until Tanya pulled out a gun from one of those men and shouted pointing the gun at the team.

"Aap sab ruk jaiye. Band kariye ye sab kuch. Warna mai goli chala dungi."

"Tanya kya kar rahi ho tum.?"

Riya asked as others pointed back at their guns at her.

"Mai khud ko goli maar dungi."

Tanya diverted the gun point to her head , and all instantly lowered their guns.

"Tanya pagalpanti band karo."

Ayesha scolded.

"Nahi aap inn logon ko jaane dijiye yahan se. kuch mat kijiye inhe bas jaane dijiye."

Tanya said firmly, when her father grabbed her in front of him for his protection.

"Tanya , gun niche karo. Tumhare aesa karne se agar tumhe lagta hai ye dono bach jaayenge toh tum galat ho."

Arjun declared ,but she didn't flinch.

"Nahi. Ye mere papa hain ,aur vo meri apni behen hai. Itne saalo ke baad ye log mujhe mile hain aur mai aapko inhe le jaane nahi dungi.

Aap sab gun niche karo aur inhe jaane do , nahi toh mai gun chala dungi sach me."

Tanya threatened putting a finger on the trigger, while one of them men pulled the other girl and them along with Ravindra Nath started leaving the place taking Tanya as a shield for them.

They got inside cars, driving away meanwhile Arjun and the team ran behind them and Arjun shot a bullet aiming at the tyre of one car making it screech on the road and it lost balance colliding with a nearby tree and the other car halted behind it.

Pulling Tanya with him Ravindra Nath rushed towards a height among the trees, while his men attacked the officers and the other daughter got caught by Ayesha.

Arjun, chhotu sprinted behind Ravindra Nath leaving the team members to deal with the other goons who held everyone still at gun point ,with some struggling and some surrendering in fear.

"chup chap yahin khadi raho."

Ayesha held the girl firmly , and they looked towards the other direction where Chhotu kicked off the gun from Tanya's hand getting a hold of her while Arjun punched Ravindra Nath.

"Chhodo mujhe."

Tanya struggled under Chhotu's hold, thus Sakshi went ahead to help him.

"Tanya unn dono ki help karke tum khud bhi unke gunah me shamil ho rahi ho."

Sakshi reminded her holding her by hand, and watched Arjun and Ravindra Nath fighting it off with punches, kicks where lastly Arjun dropped the man to his knees.

"Mujhe apni beti se milne ke liye tum log mujhe arrest nahi kar sakte."

The man groaned.

"Beti se milne ke liye ETF officers pe goli chalayi tumne.?"

Arjun asked looking at him straight , and watched the man glaring him in return.

"Kuch saabit nahi kar paoge tum log.

Na uss chori ki na hi meri maa ki maut ki, koi saboot nahi hai."

The man chuckled.

"Ab tu hath ne agaya hai na saboot bhi aajayega. Pehle apne faide ke liye tune apni hi beti ka istemal kiya aur ab usse hi dhaal banake bhaag rahe the.? "

Chhotu scoffed grabbing him by collar making him stand up on his feet , then glanced at Tanya who lowered her head a little keeping mum before looking back at the man.

Chhotu's forehead creased a little contemplating whether he just saw Tanya's little smile amidst wiping off her tears or just mistook it then he angled his head to Arjun who seemed like seeing the same thing and thinking over it.

Suddenly Ayesha was pushed off to the ground and the girl he was holding all this time started running towards where the car had collided with the tree.

"Ayesha tum thik ho.?"

Riya rushed to her to check then glanced up at the girl.

"Tum ruko mai dekhti hun."

Riya ran behind the girl to catch her , but at a point her pace slowed down seeing the car was partially in flames due to the Collison and the girl was exactly running towards it and Riya fastened her speed again registering what the girl intending to do.

Shree came out of the factory after collecting the required evidences he got inside ,and rushed to help Ayesha after pushing off a goon whereas Something stroke Arjun's mind.

He whipped his head to Chhotu who was already looking at him a bit puzzled ,then Arjun looked back to the road.

Chhotu followed his gaze to the back and to his surprise the other girl was running towards a burning car , and Riya behind her calling out for her to stop.

"Chhotu roko usse."

Arjun said in urgency before starting scurrying down to the road ,along with Chhotu.

"Riya."

Arjun called out but getting no response he motioned Chhotu to go towards the front, while he went for the back where Riya was almost on a verge to get a hold of the girl.

Riya didn't hear any commotion behind her since her eyes were focused on the girl's hand which she intended to pull before she could reach near the car but the moment she stretched her hand to hold the girl she was pulled back instantly enlarging the distance between her and the girl .

The next thing she knew the person tugging her back toppled over making both of them fall to the ground as they rolled over with her frame laying above.

she tried to lift her head up to apprehend the situation but buried it back in the chest of the person lying underneath her , on hearing the loud blare of explosion.

It took a minute for her to realize the car exploded in real and she jerked her head up that instant whipping it to the site where the flames were reaching high that made her stand up hurriedly looking out for a trace of the girl she was supposed to save.

She felt a sudden rush of guilt for the girl and anger for the person that pulled her back at the meantime thus she turned around only to find it was Arjun standing right behind her.

"Sir aapne mujhe khincha kyun? Mai usse pakadne hi wali thi."

She chirped angrily.

"Mai gar tumhe nahi khinchta Riya , toh tum abhi ussi aag me hoti."

He spat giving her a blank look.

"Sir per vo ladki.

Mai uska hath pakadne hi wali thi.

Aapko mere sath sath usse bhi hath dena chahiye tha."

"Tumhe kya lagta hai maine jaan bujh ke usse hath nahi diya.?"

"Nahi. Per aapne usse bachane ki koshish bhi nahi ki.

Kya vo ek criminal hai issliye aapne usse marne ke liye jaane diya.?"

"Bolne se pehle soch liya karo Riya.

He snapped.

She shouted without battling an eye.

Arjun gritted his teeth not answering her then diverted his gaze to somewhere at her back.

"Tum thik ho Chhotu.?"

"Haan sir."

Chhotu answered from her behind thus she turned around that instant, only to find Chhotu coming from behind the other car holding the girl who was limping with an injured leg.

Riya blinked her eyes looking in between Chhotu and the girl , then slowly turned her head back to Arjun who was staring at her blankly and she gulped as her anger got replaced by embarrassment.

"Uh I am so…."

Before she could complete her words Arjun walked away from there asking Shree and others to take everyone to the bureau on the way.

Chhotu enquired.

The girl sneakered , making everyone stare at her in surprise.

The girl scoffed.

Riya argued further.

Arjun asked with his arms folded across his chest.

The girl answered.

Arjun explained in a breathe, then angled his head to the man before asking.

The man kept mum , while his daughters eyed him in surprise.

Arjun said interrupting the man, while the girl cried and Tanya looked at her father in disgust speaking up.

The girl snarled.

Ravindra Nath growled, making the girls stare at him skeptically.
