Finally completed season on Saturday in one go.

The series is definitely entertaining, if you know in and outs of Bollywood gossips and rumors. There are lot of references to scandals, rumors, parodies and actual incidents that has happened in the Bollywood. The series gives in real and harsh view of Bollywood with no sugar coating. The series is joy ride but cannot be called SUPERB.

Performance wise each and every character has done justice to their roles. Lakshya has done his job superbly so did all the supporting cast special Raghav steals in the show in many scenes. Among the cameos Arshad, Ranveer & Emraan leaves the mark.

It is hard to believe, a debutant director has mounted such a big project as Aryan is creator and director of the series. The direction is superb considering for a new comer. The series though could have been edited at many places to reduce its run time to 4 Hours instead of 5+ Hours. Also use of abusive language could have been reduced to some extent, but maybe they were targeting LATENT Generation.

Regarding jibes taken;

1. Aryan's own Drug Case straight forward.

2. Freddie Sodhawala most part is directed towards Feroz Nadiadwala (Hera Pheri 3 incidents), while some to Kjo-Adhar Poonawala.

3. Underworld interest in Bollywood (Mithun working with Mandakini)

4. Rajat Bedi's 3 movie contract take upon YRF's Sushant Singh, Vaani Kapoor, etc contract

5. Bobby fcking background dancer (Abhishek during Dus movie song "Dus Bahane Karke Legi")

6. Old Man "Me Too, Me Too" direct reference to Subhash Ghai's olden days. Many are criticizing as it is demeaning to girls working in movies industry, but that WAS & STILL IS THE TRUTH. Lots of new comers are still ready to DO ANYTHING for a role.

7. Rajeev Masand Reviews and roundtable with Ananya & Siddhant

8. Kartik's kick out from KJo's Dostana 2 (Underworld link maybe ?) which was never revealed.

There are lots and lots of references .... I have forgotten lots of scenes. But the best scene stealer were

1. Raghav's "Kaho Na Kaho... Yeh Aakhen...."

2. SRK's "Ghante Ka Badshah"

3. Goon's " Kaun Blowjob Denge? Humko Yeh, Ya Isko ko Hum"

4. Bobby's son's VR sex with Maid and finally confronting his love with her to his mother.

There are still lot more which will make you laugh and chuckle at many places.

Overall, Good Joy Ride.

Wasn't it Aryaman who accompanied his parents at the premiere? Does anyone here know more about Aryaman and his brother Dharam?

I really enjoyed to watch Bobby in RedChillies Class of '83 and then Love Hostel... since Dostana, none of his movies interested me enough to watch them. He was fabulous in Aryan's series. (Animal, I haven't watched) What a gorgeous idea to feature that song for the twist smiley27 (the lyrics fit so well)
