I knew there was a reason I love Kriti! She is so unproblematic and seems to really respect her seniors in the industry like Deepika and Kajol. To play the Veronica role in Cocktail 2 as Deepika's successor, I can't think of any actress better suited for the part than Kriti, and her siding with Deepika here proves that.

Happy to see Dia Mirza liked this post as well. Most women, the feminist women unafraid of being unabashedly feminist, will support Deepika on this and rightfully so. This industry needs more women willing to champion other women.

Reel never mentions Deepika and is too general to be considered an attack on her. But even if Tabu is siding against Deepika, let's not forget how problematic she is. Has had ongoing affairs with two married men, Ajay and Nagarjuna. In the infamous roundtable where Rani Mukerji defended rapists and placed the blame on the female victims and the mothers of those rapists, Tabu was completely silent. Deepika and Anushka were the only two to push back against Rani and challenge her dimwitted, regressive views. Even Alia, I will give credit, mustered some effort to try and reason with Rani. Alia looked so disturbed during that segment whenever Rani made her comments and basically gave up in shock and discomfort. In contrast, Tabu looked bored and disinterested. As the senior-most actress on that table and arguably the most lauded, she had the privilege and platform to speak out in defense of all women but she sat back and did nothing. Tabu is not a girl's girl and not someone I would want on my team in a situation like this, considering the anguish she has inflicted on other women.

so tabu liking a reel that headlines “this is why deepika is out of kalki and spirit” is “too generic to form conclusions” and “tabu is unreliable”… dosent matter she is a respected actor of her fraternity and a female actor at that who pushed the envelope many would follow …

but prabhas precious costars liking dps post which has no mention of prabhas but is rather abt her starting a new film and her relationship with srk , is “damning evidence” against prabhas…and “we love queens supporting women”…Wah….the confirmation bias here is confirmation biasing too heavily

Not liking many of the interpretations of what Deepika posted... I prefer to stick on the litteral meaning which is quite positive.
