What is the definition of good bahu exactly??? If abhira is so called good bahu as per your logic then I must say no girl should ever follow her path in becoming a good bahu .

Abhira is suffering from stalkholm syndrome. She loves her abusers and the abuse . This is nothing to brag about . She needs urgent help .

But here glorification of loving and respecting your abusers is the criteria for good bahu . So be it.
