I cannot help but ask this question. This is no foundation for the next generation at all unless they introduce another kid. In an attempt to whitewash the leads and prove their 'eternal love', they have literally destroyed almost every character in the series. But the best part is ruining their own kid.
Honestly, do the makers think TRP audience will like and relate to a character who is unruly and attempts to hits another kid (and the best part is that she is encouraged by her own dad)? And today, she is trying to snatch her own stepmother's mangalsutra (a mangalsutra that no one forced her dad to tie). Leaving all that aside, if Maira spoke and behaved the way she does in real life, she'll probably be receiving a beating everyday from our Indian parents. And the way she is able to turn her love for another person on and off as per convenience is really amazing at such a young age.
And the biggest irony is that her dad took her away from her mother because he felt that she would not be a good parent. But he failed to parent his own kid properly. Maira's behaviour is a total reflection of his failure.
And if they made Maira the FL of the next generation, I cannot imagine who can relate to such a bratty character (typically such kids as shown as negative leads). And if they miraculously transform her into a goody-two-shoes, no one is going to buy such a transformation unless she receives firm parenting (which her wonderful parents seem incapable of giving).
