Writers destroy there own characters and shows, then think all fans will stick around or forgive if they show some nice scenes. Some things can't be changed forgiven or unseen cause the damage is done. The track to justify 7 years leap wasn't needed or necessary and you're trying to fix wrong. Right or wrong majority out there will accept it and the minority who doesn't want it wouldn't matter. Makers are comfortable as long as the 60-70 % or more still there to get trp, they're fine. That's why ITV is in the state is in now comfortability with the status quo. Example fans want Gen 5, why so the makers can do all over again and maybe worst

actually new shows be given better time slots.
for eg tum se tum tak is doing so well in a good time slot

every show has a journey of around 500 episodes if written well.. otherwise 300 episodes should be enough to tie it up .. frankly all the prime time shows in starplus should shut down .. including UKA .. and new shows be given that window .. I am quite sure they will get better TRPs ..


But itv is right now at its lowest level

There is a dearth of creativity in ITV right now.It may sustain for a decade or so but people will look down upon ITV.
