There is one comment explaining how most of her sufferings are self inflicted and I agree with that comment smiley20 (tho she is not responsible for armaan's actions but she herself kept ignoring all his red flags)

True.That comment was spot on.She went down the drain because of armaan.Also armaan will move on with geetanjali fast.

He is gonna cry for a minute or so and then make some hopeless trials of freeing Abhira and then hornymaan will decide jaane do isse for maira and for her sake he will make a PL with G2. Case closed

dkp is just trying to add drama to entice viewers.. trps are good so he'll experiment with tracks. Gen 4 is abhiras story so he'll show her hardships and struggles.. I've seen this jail track in another show and it does give the heroine growth.. she'll interact with the other ladies. Hear their stories and probably get some advice from them..in Naamkarann the heroine made friends in jail who were a strong support system for her later in the show..here its good for abhira to be in contact with women outside poddars family..as they can give her objective advice .. ultimately abhira is innocent..so she'll get out of jail and resume her life..
