Human nature would also make you call out the baccha chor baap that stole u away from your mother deliberately n ran away like coward n used another woman for years n discarding her the min the bio mom arrived in pic..Also it looks fake with the sudden over flowing of love rather than gradual acceptance.

Exactly. Shouldn't the police first question the restaurant owner/manager/cook/waiter etc. and also investigate about the food they're serving to the customers? If it was a private place or even a park Abhira would have been suspected of murdering him but here she definitely gets benefit of doubt because they were drinking coffee in a restaurant and the cctv footage must have clearly showed she put restaurant sugar in his coffee. As you said, this is not a strong convincing case at all.

Abhira lost the day she decided Armaan was going to be her lawyer, hugs and kisses don't work on judge, unless they do but here they didn't

Anyways, the whole case was lost on stupidity of Armaan who didnt check the tablets he took then was late to hearing and didnt say anything in defense
