Thread for IF Based Bluff Master Games

Basically what will happen is 5 of you will play together. One of you, randomly, will get the answers to the 6 questions I will be asking during the slot. That person will be the Bluff Master and only I will know who they are. Each slot will consist of 4 "rounds". Each question will have 10 answers and the answers will range in points from 10 to 100 (most popular/well known to least popular/well known).

In the first "round", I will ask 1 question and I will tag who answers. The order will change with each question. As you get named, you have to give an answer. Your answer may or may not be on the board. If it isn't on the board, then you don't get any points, else you get the points associated with the question. After that "round", I will ask each person to name who they think the Bluff Master is. The person that gets the most votes, will be eliminated. If the person eliminated is the Bluff Master, then a new Bluff Master will be chosen from the remaining people. If the person eliminated is not the Bluff Master, then everyone's points get halved.

In the second "round", I will again ask 1 question and each person will give me 1 answer in the order I call their name. Then once again people will name who they think the Bluff Master is.

In the third "round", you will get 2 questions and each person will give 2 answers, but not together. You will give 1 answer and then when I call your name again, you will give your second answer. In this round, I will run a random draw and eliminate one of the 3 people. This is to mimic an audience eliminating a player who they think could be the Bluff Master.

For the fourth and final "round" of the slot, the 2 remaining people will once again get 2 questions with 2 answers to each. For this round, the eliminated participants will name who they think the Bluff Master is. If they are right, then the Bluff Master's points will be halved and the eliminated participants who named the right person will get a bonus 100 points each. If they are wrong, then the final honest player will be eliminated, but their points won't be reset to 0 or halved. However, the Bluff Master will get a bonus 100 points.

SOME REMINDERS/UPDATES

Reminder – if you guess the wrong Bluff Master for elimination then your points will be halved. So be sure before you name someone to eliminate.

Points will be carried through. They will not be reset.

First the winner of each slot will go through. If a proxy wins a slot, then that proxy will not get to go through. However, the proxy will win 20 bonus points if they win the slot they are proxying in. If the proxy wins, no one will through in that slot. Instead, everyone will be put into a pool out of which then the top players will go through until I get 20 players for the semi-finale.

Please wait until I take your name to give an answer. If you post an answer without being named, I will ignore it and other people have a fair chance at that answer.

Only post 1 answer. I will not accept if you post multiple answers together. I will simply give you a 0 and move onto the next player. Then every answer you posted will be fair game for others to take.

Remember just 2 things if you get chosen as Bluffmaster - (1) you want to earn a lot of points and (2) you don't want to make it too obvious you have the answers...
