Episode starts like Crime Patrol literally... with the scene of Aish trying to stab Ani and Mannat holding her back.
Then few hours earlier, Varun is desperately calling Mannat and she is unable to leave because Vik is stopping her. She eventually lies to him (apologizes to Bappa for this) and goes away.
There's a cutesy "jaldi mere pass aaogi" and "aapke siwa kaha jaungi"... Vikrant's reaction is priceless... Mannat is usual Mannat.... she says these words and sends him to dream land.
Gagan is also going out and offers to drop Mannat. She is hesitant but eventually goes with him.
My overworking mind was thanking Gagan... Mannat managed to reach faster and save Ani. And for all of Aishs... bhagwan bhi mujhe hara nahi sakte... Gagan indirectly foiled her plan.
Ani is behaving like a martyr... knowing fully well that if Mannat doesn't reach on time, he wont survive.
Varun is also there but cannot help as it doesn't look like he spotted Aish yet.
Ani goes to the kitchen and Aish follows.
She then proceeds to hurt him and chide him for his stupidity over the years. For underestimating her etc.
To me it looked like Ani was deliberately pretending to be scared to stall Aish and make her rant more.
Aish throws him over the stairs and the precap plays out.
Mannat pulls her away and immediately goes to check on Ani.
A moment later she starts recapping everything from Shruti's illness, to finding out about Aish = Sonia, then Aish making her betray Vik etc... Mannat is shocked and traumatized....
I loved how they wrote Mannats dialogues... it gives a justification of why she believed Aish.
Mannat like everyone else cannot believe how a woman can hate her own child so much... and that there should be a reason for it... indirectly saying Mannat was craving for acceptance if not love from Aish.
And when she got to know the truth (the cringe expressions Ayesha showed 
) while talking about Ani's assault were too good...
Mannat is tremendously hurt by Neetu's words of paap ki nishani and ganda khoon 
... but justifies the hate because she thought why and how would Aish accept her or love her if her presence reminded her of the assault.
Mannat links it with how Shalini suffered and she having seen that knew what Aish must have felt.
then she recalls her own assault and how Aish saved her.
That's when she links it with Malla.... and how Aish took a promise from her to not name Malla in front of Vikrant or he would jail her. 
That's when the trauma turns to hysteria, she stops crying and sobers up, Mannat realizes Aish did all this to protect Malla, that Aish had always said meri ek hi beti hai and Mannat like a fool believed Aish finally had some feelings for her.... she starts clapping like crazy and Aish tries to pacify her.
(the wide eyed crazed look Ayesha managed was absolutely fantastic)
As of today Aish is abla naari and worried for Mannat's breakdown... Ani is torn seeing his daughter in distress. the scene will continue tomm.
Looks like they edited some of the close up shots which Ayesha might have been uncomfortable to do after her asthmatic attack.

For me it's too early to criticize Sanjay as an actor. They need to be able to do scenes frequently to form that connection which shows on our screen like we can see ARS's, Neetu's hate for Mannat or Vikrant's love for Mannat. They have all lived the characters for months now and know the nuances of their characters
