Congratulations to all involved.

Janhavi tried to shine by choosing central roles, finding better scripts, using PR tactics and showing her cleavage. Nothing worked for obvious reasons. And irony is she is finally seeing success with a typical bolly plot movie. I dread how her PR is going to milk it.

A female superhero film in Malayalam is selling more than twice the tickets of Param Sundari. South is again hammering BW this week.

I thought that being end of the month, immediately after a big festival holiday would keep many away from the theatres.

The budget of the movie is 60 crores I think.Sacnilk reported the opening to be 7-7.5 crores range

We can't underestimate the power of having rich powerful family in BW. But I doubt if anyone is rich enough to throw crores and crores at every film for years and years. Even Billionaires won't do that for their children ..overlook dozens of failed businesses.Besides, Maddock doesn't need Shraddha's Janhvi's,Sharvari's money .He is rolling in cash.

Some stars like Sid are popular and well liked..and cruise along doing films here and there,still be an A lister.He carries himself like that.Now that he is married to a top actress,born into a rich, connected family..He is seen as the perfect,handsome ,likeable dreamboat of a man.He should do more romantic films.

As for Janhvi-I told you,that she is very popular on OTT.People like her.This may be her first hit film-in which she has done well in the title role "Sundari".It is going to get only better for her.

It is very tough to get financers onboard for a female led film and Janhvi managed to do 3 ( Mili, Jerry and Ulajh) without proper commercial success. A dream for even the successful female stars early in their careers. I would have bought your argument if Ananya was the one bagging these meaty female centric films. Ananya is the only new age female nepo who has genuine popularity and has tasted theatrical success. Boney I also feel is a very smart man with good networking skills. He always gets Zee studios onboard . Last but not the least , Janhvi's boyfriend Shikhar has political stronghold plus is best friends with Anant Ambani.

If upper middle class Indian parents can accumulate lakhs of money to send their kids abroad for a better life, for the nepo parents spending their black money stacked in tax havens on a few films is peanuts. Watch out for Rasha Thadani and Agasyta Nanda and the number of movies they will continue to get until they establish themselves.
