Narayani Shastri playing Tashu

Please help me understand:

Recently Narayani Shastri said in an interview regarding Piya Ka Ghar that she wanted to leave the show if she had to play the mother of a grown-up daughter! She said didn't want that kind of a role at this stage of her career! But she compromised when the producers said she would play the role of mother and daughter (dual role)!

Yet she contradicted herself by playing Tashu on Kkusum as mother of a grown-up son!

Is it me who is misunderstanding this or is she actually contradicting herself?

Help me understand!

I didn't read the article and can't comment on it. However, this is what i think. May be now she is thinking, it's time to play such role or kekta somehow convinced her to finish the role of tashu.

You are saying that Megha is going to grow up in Piya Ka Ghar.😕😕
