This is Hartalika Teej, a day before Ganesh Chaturthi.... I suppose there 3 such Teej during the year.

From what I know Maharashtrians are ones who celebrate this one. I am doing today.

And since I just refreshed my memory with the Katha of this ritual ... let me shed some light 😁

Mukta knows her mythology well.

In this story, Himalaya (who is Devi Parvatis father) wants her to marry Vishnu and not an ascetic like Shiva, who may not be able to give her riches or luxury. But Parvati has set her mind and does this vrat, fasting and gets Shivas blessing. Eventually Himalaya concedes and gets them married.

My guess is hamare show ki Parvati is Vikku 😁

He has set his mind on marrying Mannat... and having her as a life partner... and this panmasala marriage is his penance/vrat. 😍

Like Parvati... Vikku has to do kathor tapaasya to get what he wants ❤️

The teej mom used to do was where we fast and do jagran for the whole night if possible… that was the first one that happened a while ago in the show
