So it's good as nostalgia factor. Best season 2 of season 1. Balika Vadhu maker's should learn from them for Balika Vadhu 2.

Honestly, I find most sequels bad especially show sequels. It takes me a long time to watch them because it is usually never as good as the original

Yes mostly it's bad. Kyu ki 2 it's just for a nostalgia factor plus they are trying to create story for new leads. They handover the show from old cast to new one. Amar upadhyay and Smiti irani carry the screen presence. First time I'm seeing. I can say that why many years ago she was Fav bahu. She carry the screen presence alot even after many years. And her acting look natural too.

Atleast there fans are happy. That the main purpose of bringing old show.

I've noticed this is a trend nowadays. To create shows based off of nostalgia factor. I wish they would put more effort into writing and producing fresh shows though.

But new show also face struggle even when story is 100th% new and fresh.

Look at the case of Noyontara. They story is totally new and fresh but still struggling to get TRP. Now with pressure they changed story and put more focus on love story. Many times audience dispointed a lot.

The storylines have to be something that audience finds interesting though. Most of the time the show starts out good and then audience gets disinterested. TV in general as taken a hit since OTT was created though. Younger audience aims more towards OTT. This puts more pressure on channels. I hope these TV channels can figure something out
