thats why all his rage annoyance is at her so called mother and wife

Vahi toh kar raha tha. Vo toh Shah hauj mein unpaid naukar bankar permanently basne ko taiyaar tha. Par Pumaa got him sent back to Kotharis showing fake mahanta though the actual reason was so that she could gradually start taking it over.
