Taking advantge of my commute over the last couple of days I managed to hear the full concert. It has been so long since a concert! It was incredible to hear, especially some of the new songs added on request from the audience.
As I said before, Arunita singing Arijit's songs makes them sound 100x better. But I want to hear her sing more of Lataji / Ashaji / SG songs. There are very few singers who can do justice to those, and that is her strength.
Also, I felt a lot of pain in Arunita's voice when she sang the first song (Phir le aaya dil) and Kalank. There's been some major upheaval in her personal life this year and it appears to me that the dust has not yet settled.
