Personally, I don't think that taking that role in Animal had been a good choice but a weak one... she became what you call a "national crush" because of a questionable part in the movie that in no way matched her performances in her previous movies. Even though to be a talented actress she had to take a lot of flack for every following role and none of her movies matched the quality of her first ones. I've the feeling that people don't care for her one bit.

Getting associated again with Vanga immediately make people think of another steamy role - and not a serious one.

Feeling bad for Tripti. KJo will never give her a decent successful movie. She is way better than Alia.

Siddhant was bad casting for this movie. He looked like Tripti's brother.

Her acting is great in Qala and Bulbbul but sadly the steamy scene gave her popularity.

They should cast her with Avinash or someone with whom she has chemistry with.

Lol people thinking they can compare Alia to Tripti have noooooo clue 😂 Even Kriti and Kiara are miles ahead of her so it's not just due to KJo backing 😅 I'd say even Aneet right now is a bigger star and that's just after one film 🥲

Apart from Alia being successful in most of her films and being a hugeee star overall.. she is also a more versatile actress. Tripti from day one has been overhyped in my opinion. Never seen the spark and after this she'll just fade away in the background as have the likes of Rakul, Rashmika etc and you name it.

Tripti is talented but she chooses the most basic scripts that gives her nothing. I Keep telling my mom to watch bulbul but she doesn't because according to her "it is that annoying girl who is everywhere these days" over exposure is a real thing.

Tripti ain't it. We all have to accept that and move on. She had her day in the sun, and none of us got tanned. We live and learn. Time to move on.

Absolutely...especially "overexposure" in what I would call the wrong way.

I liked her - from her very beginning in the tiny roles in Mom and her first leading role in Laila MBulbbul and Quala were an important step towards getting known as the talented actress she is.

As I haven't watched Animal (and won't), I only know what I got to know here in the forum...and I'm a bit sad that she was too inexperienced to anticipate that she would get a (negative) stamp through that role.

I think she wasn't really 'bad' in the following 4 movies, but the Indian audience may not take her serious - in a certain way.

Why do we talk in extremes? After Animal, Tripti was the best thing since sliced bread. Now her career is over.
