Quantum Computing , using the basic Qubit , has helped us to do the DNA testing with high speed and great accuracy . Technology has advanced in leaps n bounds and vastly simplified the process and provided results with amazing accuracy .

It took humans many years to decode the human genome . It started in 1996 and we decoded our DNA completely only in 2006 . It took billions of US dollars in the process .

Now there are more than 200 types of DNA tests that are used by health care professionals to diagnose various human ailments , learn the genetic predisposition to diseases , medico-legal uses etc . Each test may cost around 100 dollars and are easily available . Some can be ordered online too.

The availability of quantum computing is going to give a significant push to the area: faster sequencing of DNA , as well as a more comprehensive and faster analysis of the entire human genome,

The DNA tests will be more reliable as quantum computers could take into account even more information than traditional computers,

Quantum computers using Qubits can even build every piece of genomic data into health records.

So very soon the present Fluorescent Spectrometry is going to be replaced by Qubit spectrometry . And we shall feel the difference ,

Quantum computing could take out the guesswork from genomics and genetics for ensuring better health for everyone.

What is Quantum Computing n Qubit … explained here

DNA sequences are sequential arrangements of the nucleotide bases, i.e., the four ‘letters’ that encode information invaluable to the proper functioning of an organism. For example, changing the identity of just one nucleotide out of the several billion nucleotide pairs in the human genome can lead to a serious medical condition. The ability to read DNA sequences quickly and reliably is thus essential to some urgent point-of-care decisions, such as how to proceed with a particular chemotherapy treatment. Unfortunately, genome analysis remains challenging for classical computers, and it’s in this context that quantum computers show promise. Quantum computers use quantum bits instead of the ‘0’ and ‘1’ of classical computers, facilitating an exponential increase in computational speed.
