A lot of these criticism is not for one category.I ain't criticizing just one category.Majority of the categories have been awful. This got to be the worst National Awards of all time. They have been relegated to Filmfare and pan masala awards.

So what? this has happened many times in the past. Saif for hum tum, Alia for Gangubai, Kirti for Mimi all were unworthy. and God knows who in the 80s and 90s. just because its SRK, so much controversy is happening. because he is a big name. Everyone knows he should have gotten it long ago.

NA has lost its value. Allu Arjun won for a movie like Pushpa. what do you expect?

A rightful contender lost to a mediocre performance.

The criticism is not only of SRK, the majority of the categories have been awful on this ocassion.Over the years this has been happening but it's been the lowest on this ocassion.

Does that make them better than Rani?

The topic itself highlights the politics from the centre behind it.
