Finally watched Saiyaara and I shockingly liked it. Having very low expectations works I guess.
I get the hype and the movie deserves its success. Great debut by both Ahaaan and Aneet, they did not seem like debutants at all.

I agree….what works for Saiyaara is its debutant lead pair. They effortlessly carry the movie through all of its flaws. Replace them with any other current pairs, the movie would’ve flopped miserably. That’s why the credit for this movie should completely go to these two talented actors than to anyone else be it the director or the YRF.

The YRF strategy of not over exposing them also was a good move since it made sure we all went in with a clean slate to watch the movie without having any prejudices about the actors. Ahaan staying away from the nepo gang for a while now is also a smart move. I hope he stays low key like this and works hard on his craft, he has immense potential. Let your work do the talking.
Loved how delicate and innocent Aneet looked in the film and she portrayed her role so well...this slight fragility which comes with her illness.
