ACP Pradyumn said sorry because he should've known better than to believe that Dr. Salunkhe will betray his country, his profession, CID and his oldest friend Pradyumn.

I mean he did say his heart never agreed with the narrative that Dr. Salunkhe is a traitor and spy of eye gang. But he did eff all about it ! Did he do atleast an internal investigation to double check the truth as it was presented ? No! Abhijeet ko 10 minute mein samjh aa gaya ye Dr. Salunkhe nehi hai ! He needed another 15 minutes to trick the interloper to reveal the truth himself. If Pradyumn Sir even had kept a wide margin of doubt , Dr. Salunkhe could've been found much earlier . He spent three months in a small cage ,frail and tortured with drugs like an animal.

Pradyumn visited the fake Salunkhe many times yet he couldn't find the truth because he didn't really try. It's one of the flaws of this otherwise nearly perfect and legendary cop and leader , he always easily believes the worst of his compatriots. He suspended Daya over a ridiculous charge . He should have known better ! Daya can die for his country and duty , never betray it.

When that SOS fella came with a similar ridiculous charge, instead of trusting Daya and wait for the truth to come out, he said he'll shoot Daya with his own hand if he turned out to be a traitor!

Koi bhi random aira gaira raha chalta bhula bhatka chai wale pe aikeen kar lega against his own comrades who've worked with him for decades showing over and over again what they're made of !

He should apologize to Daya as well.

Like I mentioned the writing in this season feels too off

Sure ACP sir suspected his officers even in season 1 but he equally gives them the benifit of doubt as well with Daya case of the dishonest cop and with Abhijeet for whom.he requsted KD to represent him in court

He's the leader of the team , if he tries to help his officers directly he'll be called biased plus during SOS track he was being pressured by both DIG and SOS so he didn't have a choice

Comic relief characters have been in the show since season 1 like Freddy sir and Pankaj.....we have Pankaj to compare him with in terms of comic relief

Pankaj's jokes were a bit dull this season whereas SOS was euqal parts funny and serious and that worked.

I think the production house is also an issue...

Banijay Asia Esa hi kuch hein na naam....the writers are writing the story as if koi daily soap hein....bohot melodrama chal raha hein...

Case gaya baju mein yeh log andar hi andar cid cid khel rahe hein..har koi har kisi pe shak kar raha hein

Those kinds of episodes were in season one and ig these people thought that those were the fan fav episodes so they're doing it with different characters

But tabhi out of 10 episodes 9 used to be regular cases...toh watching 1 such episode with drama was good....but now the story is completely reversed....there are 9 dramatic episodes and 1 normal episode

Ha but what I was saying is we are comparing this ACP sir to season one ke acp sir na same goes with duo and other pankaj ka sath issue is it has become repetitive

SOS to me initially was good but in finale episode was way too much uski chai prem was way too much

Yeah that's my point , this season does not feel upto the mark due to such drastic balance shifts. They should go back to solving cases than resorting to such high octane drama where they suspect each other at the drop of a hat.

That was his second last episode and yes even I was irked by that scene . In his last epispde his character quirks were a bit subdued

He didn't have to directly help them. But he could've asserted his unflinching trust on them , it'd be a great look as a leader. Daya went crazy when he thought Pradyumn died. He went above and beyond to find the person responsible for his death , how'd he feel if he heard this remark from his father figure and Guru ?

Tbh, I didn't like the SOS character at all. He pretends as if he's oh so intelligent, yet it never crossed his mind that Daya could be on a mission to eleminate sleeper cells ? He knew the existence of sleeper cells and could also see that the targets are very hand picked . So why'd a reputed and decorated officer just go on a random killing spree ? Why not look into the profile of the victims and find what binds them ?

He focused too much on who and missed the why.

No wonder Daya couldn't trust anyone with the mission . SOS could've easily compromised the mission by informing the higher ups , not understanding this simple fact that spies of neighbors are sprinkled there too.
