Exactly... What was the point of them participating in Rama Avatar when they are trying so hard to against one of their own...? Absolutely makes no sense.

RK was a fiasco on its own but somewhat entertaining to watch...

VH is just painful to watch.

It went far worse that those two promos and the Ayodhya storyline was bizzare to say the least. I did not watch the whole episodes but just skimmed through the teasers.

From what I understood... Hanuman went to Ayodhya to fin ld a way to bring back his mother. He faces a lot of obstacles on the way. As usual (Swastik doesn't just love crazy stories, the entire production house loves to blatantly repeat storyline to the point of entirely mundane boring...) the Devas and Lord Shiva in disguise accompany Hanuman. Shiva tries to set challenges for Hanuman while Devas want to prevent him from succeeding... I lost count of how many times I saw this storyline already.

And then Hanuman was head over heels for Rama and we had bizzare storylines of Rama being spirited away by an asura from sage Vasishta's ashram, Hanuman rescuing him, Lakshmana being angry and jealous, Hanuman getting insulted and chased away, kid Rama pretty much throwing a tantrum to help Hanuman matched by his mother throwing the same tantrum to prevent Rama fro doing it... My head hurts just by thinking about it...

Finally Rama managed to find a solution to Hanuman's problem and sends him on his way to retrieve his mother.

And now Hanuman is flying to Surya Deva for his education determined to force him to teach and all the Devas are plotting how to foil his plans...

Never heard of this story till now. From where are they picking this up ? Surely not from random fan fictions right ?

I hope not and it's only getting worse.

Hanuman came back to Kishkinda with Ayodhya's saffron flag which Rama had given him and Kesari and others refuse to let Hanuman install it saying that would make Kishkinda a vassal state of Ayodhya. A big mess ensued where Hanuman got enraged and enlarged his body and started destroying everything.

There's a limit even to showcasing nonsense. But this is beyond too much. They have such talented artists buy show such nonsensical stories. These sort of shows do nothing but degrade our legends, history and mislead today's generations.

Oh my god. Even random fanfictions aren't as wild as this one like are they seriously showing this stuff on screen? Even if 0.1% population are influenced by this nonsense, I shudder to think of their perspective on our legends. 😫

Sadly it's a lot more than 0.1% who are influenced...

From kids to grown ups, people are obsessed and start to act the same way...

This is like licensing bad behaviour.

Unfortunately Swastik keeps misinterpreting our history to create some nonsensical romance story...

Rama was known for keeping his word, just like all Suryavanshis. This also means that they don't promise very easily and if they do, they stuck to it. But what Swastik shows is kids and adults just making promises on a whim and show off suffering because of it. Ramayana is a legend we learn from and Swastik Ramayana blatantly preaches bad behaviour and glorifies it.

Too bad such talented actors are roped into this mess.

tbh, the current state of itv is so unpleasent that even good actors have to enact the crappy storyline despite their good acting skills. and from a financial standpoint (unless the actor chides the story and quits the show due to creative difference, so kudos for taking such a step as i know few actors who have quit midway after a certain point and have chided other side characters for being propped up despite their negativity), they've got no other choice but try to either act as directed or salvage the shittiest of the shittiest storylines.

Exactly. That's why the whole situation is so unfortunate to say the least. Be it money or a chance for exposure, people have to do something. No idea what to support - them going along with this nonsense or them leaving or declining roles they are interested in.

I hope production houses can limit nonsense when it comes to historical and divine stories...
